Int. Apartment - Morning Steam rises from her freshly poured coffee as she waits on it to cool. Her face is buried in the morning news, save for the glimpse we get when it's time to turn the page. Reaching the puzzle section, she folds the edges and bites the cap off of a pen and gets to work.

Int. Ballroom - Night In the middle of the now abandoned ballroom she lies beautifully tangled in pink chiffon and metallic tulle surrounded by bits of confetti and fallen party decorations. A bit tipsy, she stares upset the spinning chandeliers not ready for the night to end.

Int. Doorway - Morning A bit of blood rides to the top of her fingertip as pins the brooch tightly to her lapel. She lifts her finger to her mouth before sliding her hand into a new pair of gloves.

Int. Bed - Day The phone rings disturbing her from her magazine. She lifts it from its stand and carries on a short, muffled conversation before dropping it suddenly to her side with nothing but the buzzing of a dial tone leaving the receiver.

Int. Bathtub - Morning Lying relaxed, feet up, in the clawfoot bathtub she wakes with a New York City sunrise and a bottle of pink moscato. Our Airbnb has the antique bathtub I've wanted since I first saw Big Fish.

Int. Hallway - Day Suitcase in hand she sways her hips side to side, her skirt swishing around her calves as she stares up at the flashing number. Upon reaching the eight floor the elevator doors open with a ding and she dashes in dreaming of skyscrapers and city lights. Oh, New York! Only a few more hours until I see your pretty self✨
