Today I come to you with an interesting fact about witch hats!

There are actually only four theories, but the most plausible one is connected.. with beer!

This theory suggests that witches' hats originated from the special headdresses of women who brewed ale or beer for sale. Presumably, these hats took on a negative connotation when the male-dominated brewing industry accused women of selling beer. Combined with the widespread suspicion that women with knowledge of herbs are related to the occult, the Elvife hat has become associated with witchcraft!

This is the kind of discrimination in the Middle Ages that gave our world an interesting attribute for Halloween)
