Hoi! SHSL Despair Ninja here! You can call me DN! 19 years old IT college student, I'm actually a girl but I welcome any pronoun as long as it's not "it" :P My main fandoms are Ninjago and The Doraemons. Forget this being a Ninjago blog. This is officially a crossover hell regardless of fandoms :'D
I got a couple of followers for the pro-Palestine reblogs I did so I'm here to remind you that I recently starting to post stuff from the fandoms I'm in again, particularly Ace Attorney, Final Fantasy XIV, and Ninjago as well as random stuff that I found on tumblr.
Also, this is bear repeating since my last serious post, but I know some of y'all are either don't want to have irl politics on your tumblr dash or just wanna take a break from it for a moment. If so, I recommend you to block the tag "DN gets serious" as that is the tag I usually use to mark irl politics stuff. World's been shit lately and burnout is a real thing so I wouldn't fault you to find a momentary respite before facing reality once more.
Idk what possessed me to think that Wihuwte, as a disgraced trainer or something, would have the patience and absolutely aced at training Haru Urara even though she still have her lose streak debuff.
And Kemakka trained Symboli Rudolf at one point.
And Zekowa being on the receiving end of at least two misfortunes (Oguri's gluttony and Golshi's Gold Ship).
I don't even play funny horse game :'D
(Also Wihuwte would absolutely teach Haru how to say 'fuck' without remorse I'm not making the rules-)
Ver-huwte, I said. His pose is more like Gustave's pose in his Character Trailer :V
*Dust this blog off* Oh hey! It's been... *checks last post date* almost a year since I posted anything :'D
Was mucking around in GPose while having a Clair Obscur brainrot. Ended up turning the Shaaloani Gang into Expedition personnels lol. Had to use VFXEditor to give the guys' weapon some effects cuz their assigned weapons are VFX-less. Zekowa's rapier ended being too over edited since I tried (and failed) to mimic Maelle's glowy weapon from her Character Trailer.
Fun fact! I posted this on Pixiv first so if you see it there, yep that's me who's posting :D
Full body for each individual + me cheekily giving naming theme to their weapon mod under the cut:
(Wihuwteram is in Ver-huwte's GPose. I only made Wihuwteso after I took the GPoses)
People at Wihuwte either ship him with Kemakka, simping at him (I mean... I do too ngl dude's a snacc XD), or already predicting him being a bad guy (I... somehow though he's a double agent at worst), meanwhile I am in awe with how similar he looks with Avenel (the Timid Trader/Bandit from DT Phys. Ranged Role Quest).
Like...
(Stole that Wihuwte screenshot from @demilypyro cuz I didn't take any MSQ screenshot of him rip OTL)
It got to the point where I actually made them twin brothers separated by circumstance (Avenel's Turali birth name being Awetihwe) in Cole's storyline.
The story is that, when they were kids (around 8-10 at most), they tried to escape their increasingly unhinged outlaw Da not long after their Ma died from unnamed illness. Only Avenel made it across the salt while Wihuwte unfortunately got caught by the Da's underlings.
Avenel got found by an Ul'dahn merchant and grew up under their tutorage, though since he refused to talk about himself - not even his name - as a sort of defense mechanism in fear of being found by mercenaries sent by his Da, he's christened with his current name by said merchant and he himself claimed to strangers that he's born and raised in Ul'dah from then on. When his parent figure died, he took over their business but either not as savvy as them as a merchant or oversaturation in market that he had a hard time keeping up (leaning towards the latter atm) to the point of struggling financially, leading to him being taken by Chalteaufite's lies and participating in the Elezen's criminal activities in order to make ends meet.
Wihuwte meanwhile had to grow up under the Da and his gang's suffocatingly watchful eyes until he managed to sneak out from the Da's grasp many years later and went to where Hhusatahwi is now to sign up as a Duskwatch (or proto-Duskwatch, I forgot how long had Duskwatch exist) so that he could stifle down criminals like his Da was. Though with how stretched thin the Duskwatch were despite their best efforts, he got disillusioned and Zekowa's gang forming sort of made him snap to the point where he took control over the Daybreaker with the intention of starting a gang war against both his Da (for the mistreatment he done) and the Duskwatch (for, in his eyes, not doing enough), only resorting to stealing and selling stuff in the Black Market due to needing the funds and equipment first before doing so.
I know Patch quests could throw a wrench on their entire background story but like... Idk I just went crazy for these 2. I can understand Avenel being confined within Role Quests stuff but by God do I find Wihuwte utterly underutilized. Maybe cuz I have high expectation coming into the Shaaloani part after watching so many RDR2 clips and playthrough, but I feel like there's more to him than meets the eyes (Zekowa and Kemakka probably too but I felt this strongly on Wihuwte).
Bonus: Have the twins' family photo when they were kids and after both got released from jail (and Avenel finally has the courage to sail back home) :D
False narratives in mass media produces a perpetual cycle of violence fueled by irrational hate.
American media outlets are so disconnected from humanity that the lies they spread hurt their own people.
As much as we support and aid those in Palestine let's not forget the Palestinians here, in America, who are also bearing the brunt of hate from irrevocable beings.
I wish for Hisham and the others attacked in this hate crime justice and healing. 🇵🇸

tried to type up a quick transcript of motaz's stories featuring the anonymous phone calls. it's baffling.
(i think my recording software might have cut off the end of some clips, and i may have misheard/mistyped slightly as the audio is muddled, so if you can go listen for yourself)

caller: hello?
motaz: hello
caller: hello motaz, how are you?
motaz: i'm fine
caller: fine? fine day to go to the beach?
motaz: yeah, sounds lovely
caller: hm?
motaz: yeah, who are you?
caller: i don't understand
motaz: (slowly) who are you?
caller: ehh... i'm nobody. but anyways, um, can you like, post a story maybe condemning hamas so this can all end?
motaz: what?
caller: can you post a story maybe against hamas?
[next clip]
motaz: it's been going on since 1948, okay? and for us, we believe this is our land, and you believe it's your land, and this is the fight we'll never end until the last day of this life. okay? but i'm not understanding why you need me to show you what you want to show, because i'm palestinian. what do you expect me to show? show that -
caller: i expect you - i expect you to - what i think is best for you is - obviously you're a camera man, and i don't think you would harm - let's say you're - you're just a person you know
motaz: yeah, but if you are afraid from the pictures, you are so weak. you should know that. if the pictures are harming you, you should know there's something wrong with you.
caller: no -
motaz: because as you said, i can't harm anyone
caller: let's think for a second. gaza is divided into two. the north fled to the south
[next clip]
caller: i can say, all the people that are marching, protesting in the street, saying 'free palestine' they don't really care. honestly, motaz. if they cared, they would go fight the war together. people are fake. all the people that say in the comments when you post a post 'may Allah save you guys, may Allah -' no they don't - they care about it to a certain point. they don't really know anything about it. they're going to go down today, like - they're not going to do anything. they are just making noise.
motaz: yeah, making noise, but if this is annoying for you or for israel it's your problem, because you are killing people, okay? you are genociding my people. so if, if i'm gonna stand and watch - i don't know who the hell who are you, okay? and uh.. but believe me after what i saw, after what i experienced, i don't care about my life, okay? you destroyed the whole strip, like, the only part we were happy about having, a small part of our country, okay? and it's now destroyed. and you were right when you called the first time that there'll be [the army?] there'll be more bombing, more killing, 'don't go to the borders, don't go to the north,' and i try, uh, to be careful, but, uh, the killing never stops. i mean, i'm in the south, i'm in the middle area, eh, you can't -
caller: isn't it possible for your people to flee to egypt?
motaz: why to flee to egypt, man? it's not our country. why to flee? we have our country. why flee to egypt? be reasonable, okay, be reasonable when you are talking.
caller: i care about life.
motaz: you care about life? stop the killing, man. stop the killing. you are going to have the most powerful weapons in the whole world -
[new clip]
motaz: i'll say it to you, the first time you called me, i was terrified, because a lot of journalists have lost their lives. but now, believe me, now i swear to god i don't give a fuck, because we are all gonna die. so, at least, i will, if i die, i die while trying to do something for my people. this is from my side. eh, something else - you expect me to affect on my people, or to give them advice to go to, to egypt? to flee from the strip?
caller: yeah, it's not about right and wrong, it's about surviving. if you wanna die in the name of Allah, you can, you can say 'i don't care about dying anymore.'
