I think for chapter 3, Nekomaru should be in active recovery. Akane here is trying to extend so Nekomaru could attend the trial and by solving the trial as quickly as possible, Hajime and by extension the player become responsible for Nekomaru's death. Like imagine Monokuma after Mikan gets executed showcases Nekomaru's execution immediately afterwards.
//Honestly, I rather he didn't join this trial since he was turn into a robot which yes. I'm still keeping that. 8P
You are allowed for the "Nagi replaces Chiaki in the killing game" rewrites to change the motives for chapter 3 and 4. I personally hate how there wasn't a choice but to kill.
//Okay cool, given that chapter 3 and 4 would not work if Nagi is around, especially chapter 4 so let's begin;
Chapter 3 - V: Ibuki | B: Mikan
I think for this, I'm just gonna stick with 1 victim instead of 2 and this was something I did come up with for a motive so let's get started.
I think after the 2nd trial, everyone comes to the cafeteria to eat, everyone notice that Peko was not around which Ibuki told everyone that Peko was not in the mood to come to eat due to what happen yesterday but things are very tense with Nagi and the others due to her playing the motive and Hiyoko even accuses her 'manipulating Mahiru' which then Mahiru is quiet which she and Nagi leave.
Hajime wanted to go check on the 2 but Kazuichi advises to leave them, since he assumes those 2 are going to likely plan a murder which Hiyoko declare she would never fall for any of Monokuma's motives and Ibuki felt things were tense so she wanted to come up with some activities for fun.
Now I do think most of everything goes about the same except that Nagi is going to be very depressed and sad for all of chapter 3 so she won't be around for FTEs, same with Mahiru and Peko.
After a couple of days, Hajime notices that Nagi and Mahiru are with Peko, Sonia and Ibuki which he does ask what's going on, as it's awkward for Nagi, Mahiru and Peko which of course leads to them coming into Peko's cottage. Nagi and Mahiru did mention that all they wanted to do was talk with Fuyuhiko about the motive along with Mahiru's history with Natsumi and didn't expect him to attack them but Peko gets aggressive but then Sonia ask why is Peko acting like this which this is where Peko reveals of her connection to the Yakuza and her being a tool for the clan which she was told to protect Fuyuhiko but if he and Natsumi are dead then what purpose does she have.
Which then Nagi does tell her that while Fuyuhiko is dead, she knows that he would rather see Peko be happy and away from the clan but when Peko ask Mahiru about Natsumi, she does reveal that Natsumi was some bully that she wanted to move on from but she wasn't expecting her older brother to be apart of her class but questions how Sato knew about since she decided to move on from Natsumi, which Hajime figure that maybe Natsumi enroll into Hope's Peak Academy a year later, meaning that whoever the traitor is - is likely taking their place.
Which Mahiru agree which then she tells Peko that she and Nagi never meant to kill anyone and did hope that maybe they can patch things up which Peko agree as it does seems the 2 did want to talk with Fuyuhiko which lead to the 3 making up which was for the best.
Now the next day; Mahiru, Nagi and Peko were having breakfast together and chatting - all of them look to be bonding with each other which Nagi notice the others and goes over to bow down to apologize to everyone for what happen and most of everyone does forgive... except for Hiyoko who demands that Nagi gets on her knees and begs for letting it happen which some of the others told Hiyoko to stop making things worse but as Hiyoko continue to bring up that thanks to Nagi's actions she cause 2 murders and suspect that she's a bad luck charm which before Nagi could say anything Mahiru had enough and got up, which she then call Hiyoko out on how she was antagonizing Nagi and she's tired of her constantly antagonizing her which leads to a huge argument with Mahiru and Hiyoko and Hiyoko declares that Mahiru has 'betray her' and storms off.
Nagi apologize for letting that happen, Mahiru tells her that it's fine; it seems Hiyoko couldn't accept that she would play that game or what she did and decided to blame someone else which then Ibuki declare that they should throw a party.
After that Ibuki decided to set up her concert and have fun however Hiyoko refuses to join them and it does lead to Akane fighting Monokuma and Nekomaru getting shot, Hiyoko then comes out and tells everyone that this is what happens when you try and make friends which then Nagi goes over and tells her that what happen was awful but isolating yourself and not getting along would also get you killed which Hiyoko tells Nagi that she's naive for thinking that and declares that she'll never die a meaningless death.
The next day, they all went to the cafeteria and saw a bunch of DVDs which of course Monokuma is there which he reveals the next motive; down memory lane.
Monokuma tells that everyone is going to get their memories of their school memories however the memories are very random of who is going to get what meaning that they could be happy memories, sad ones, memories of people they care about or someone could even get the truth and if they don't watch theirs's, they'll be killed instantly; with the fear of death in mind - everyone takes a DVD and go to their rooms which Hajime decide to watch his later, which as evening roll around.
Hajime goes to his cottage and watches his DVD, which shows him a certain memory...
He saw himself in a classroom, when he enroll and how he got into Hope's Peak Academy but he doesn't know what it is, all he knows that he got into Hope's Peak Academy but he doesn't recognize anyone except for one person... Nagi...
When he sees Nagi is there he decided to rush over to her cottage, which he sees her finish watching her and takes out the DVD, Nagi then sighs and puts it away she sees Hajime there and ask what he wants which then the 2 start to talk, Hajime tells Nagi of what he saw but he doesn't recognize anyone on the island but Nagi was there, which follows this conversation;
HAJIME: 'I just... I'm not sure what to make of it; given you were the only one there, I was wondering if we were in a different class...'
NAGI: 'I think so, we were but I saw that I was in that class so maybe I got into a different class at some point, anyway. I think it's clear that the others are seeing their motives, maybe we can talk about it.'
As the 2 agree to talk with the others, a knock is hear at the door which when Nagi goes to answer; Mikan appears and tells them that she along with Ibuki, Sonia and Mahiru and ask for everyone to come eat which they agree to.
As everyone arrives, dinner got really awkward as all of them did talk about what they saw however when they ask Ibuki why she wanted to do this she mention that she saw something really depressing and wanted to forget what happen but one can tell she was not too happy and she rather hear the others which everyone did talk about their DVDs like Kazuichi mention that he got to go on a date with Sonia, Peko remember seeing Fuyuhiko interacting with others and some other fun memories however Hajime notice Mikan was quiet but mention that she was very happy with hers and even met someone romantically which everyone was surprise by and Hiyoko comments that Mikan should be excluded since no one would ever want to be with her which Mikan was quiet but she didn't seem to care.
As then the night continue, the next morning a urgent knock came which woke Hajime up, she along with Gundham, Hiyoko, Mahiru, Sonia and Kazuichi were together and it turns out that Nagi, Peko, Ibuki and Akane are all sick - Mikan reveals that they aren't feeling well and should stay at the hospital.
Now of course Hiyoko refuse which they claim that one of them should off themselves and think it might be something in the air and suggest to quarantine them, a plan was made which Hajime, Mahiru and Mikan decide to keep an eye on them until they feel better which Hajime is with Nagi and Mahiru is with Peko, after they make them rest which a day later, Hajime and Mahiru return back; Mikan is in a panic and brings them over to Ibuki's room.
It gets discover that Ibuki is found, hanging herself - having committed suicide.
Which of course an investigation happens which they decided to look at Ibuki's DVD which it was learn that Ibuki had gotten herself a boyfriend when enroll into Hope's Peak Academy who tragically died and Mahiru reveals that Mikan offer to help with cooking, Sonia was with Hiyoko who was trying to shower and change but when Nagi was looking around she happen upon some drugs that are in the garbage can.
Which then the class trial is held and after discussion, Mikan suggest that Ibuki was likely very depressed from seeing her footage and then accuses Hiyoko for influencing Ibuki into ending her own life given she was the one that told those that got sick to kill themselves which everyone did remember Hiyoko saying that which she goes very quiet but Nagi notices something is off about Mikan.
Which before everyone votes; Nagi stops them and tells them that they should look further into this and it's when Hajime realize that Mikan might of been the one that poison everyone and was setting Hiyoko up as the culpirt which that's when Mikan loses it and starts to shout at everyone.
After the trial has Mikan as the culpirt, Mikan reveals that she was the one that got the DVD that reveal what they are and how her beloved was the only one that truly love her and how thanks to Hiyoko constantly bullying and excluding her, she got to meet her beloved and instead of being a despair nutcase, she grew resentful and annoyed with the others for not stopping her - she wanted to turn Hiyoko into the fall girl as it was easy to do so and now that she'll be gone, Hiyoko should be happy that she won't see her anymore and even mention that she should be happy about that.
After that Mikan gets executed (I'm changing the execution and just making it overdoses), Hiyoko is left there as she isn't sure what to say which she leaves the trial grounds and returns to her cottage.
It ends with Nekomaru coming back as a robot...
Which yep, that's it - that's all I came up with for chapter 3, I'm taking a break from this and will write a different ask for chapter 4 later.
After DS 13, Nanako and Nikei are in conflict for almost the entirely of the episode.
Nanako goes on her own personal mission to spy on Masa.
She tries to brown-nose Masa, much to her utter indifference.
She asks Masa about Utsuro, and gets no answers.
They go to the farm (even though the farm mission already happened), and Masa responds via doing to Nanako what she did to Nikei.
Nanako considers it ultimately worth it, because the S.S MasaNao will sail eventually, to spite Nikei for all the crap he put her through.
Nanako gets what it’s like to be called a mud monster and she talks to Nikei. They reconcile.
Nanako admits she has a one-sided puppy crush on Makoto.
Nanako then sneaks off and sees Makoto get horrifically injured by Kyosuke. She’s horrified and pissed, and vows to kill Kyosuke, if she doesn’t get to Makoto first.
//Hmm interesting - Nanako's interactions with Masa are pretty funny from these and I don't think Masa really cares much about the Utsuro stuff as to her, they are nothing but urban myths online that and she has other things to investigate.
//Yeah I can imagine the stuff with Makoto is going to have some major consequences when Hope Side happens. ^^;

Nanako tags along with the Voids because she needs the control room of the Tokyo Radio Tower to start Operation Hope. She suggests the ill-fated plan for Mikado to hijack the elevator that Future Foundation and co were in so it traps them inside it.
Nanako didn’t know that the entrance is accessed by a biometric handscan that only Ibuki can access and Ibuki is currently trapped in said elevator until things started to get extremely out of hand.
Thus screwing the Voids over as they cannot reach their objective, and Nanako kicks herself for not considering this. She reads Mikado the riot act for not thinking this through, and acknowledges she’s guilty of the same thing.
After this:
Nanako: "Are we screwed on this one, guys? I'm starting to think we're screwed..."
Nikei: "What on earth were you even thinking?! I'll forgive the weird implications of assuming the door would magically open regardless of Ibuki being in that elevator, but I must comment on your absolutely abysmal planning skills, Sis."
Nanako has a full-blown panic attack at the thought that Makoto could be trapped in the elevator for literal days and Nikei snaps her out of it.
Nanako sometimes wishes she knew what Nikei was doing. And then she learns about the human cage.
//Lol yep, Ibuki being trap in the elevator was honestly the funniest thing to happen and since Fukumi, Noah, Yoshi and the others are distracting Void, probably Nanako could try and sneak in but Hajime would be there to make sure she doesn't get in but I do picture that Nagi does shut it down and lock it before sending everything to Future Foundation.
//So by the time Nagi, Makoto, Ibuki and Hajime are done and Nanako rushes in to start her operation; the door is lock again and they leave and Mikado and the rest of the Void are leaving.
Come DS episode 10, she basically takes a sledgehammer to the notion that what the Voids did was in any way, shape, or form justified by their shitty childhoods via making clear to Nikei she does not approve of how they’re making Journey Beyond Sodor, but worse in every single way, the Anons are Thomas, Nanako, Emma and Maku are Hurricane, Nikei, Mikado and Iroha are Frankie, and the whole thing where the Voids have more or less forced the Anons to help them set up the Utsuroshima Killing Game is Frankie and Hurricane holding Thomas captive at the Steelworks.
Nanako: If the Kisaragi Foundation gets us, we’re really going to be in trouble.
During the mission, she catchs a cold.
Other than Nanako’s presence, I don’t see many changes in DFTA FS episode 10.
In DS Episode 11, she She catches a cold and has to stay off during the farm mission.
Nanako does cross paths with Nagi during her solo mission. Thankfully for Nanako, she finds that information on Utsuro is apparently so airtight you can’t get a penny in. She comes up with nothing.
She manipulates Hajime M into doing her bidding.
And then she hears screaming from Nikei.
When Nikei returns, he’s in a bad mood and Nanako asks how the farm trip went.
Nanako records everything that Nikei says to her, Iroha and Hajime.
She keeps it as a weapon for Operation Hope.
//Hmm, interesting - I do like what you got plan and curious how the other episodes would go - especially Ibuki's mission, given all of Void are there for that mission.
Void, the virus is removed from the Neo Program World… but we anons know that karma will hit you hard for making Journey Beyond Sodor, but the anons are Thomas, the Voids making us help them with the killing game is the Steelworks, and the Voids are Frankie and Hurricane.

//Hello everyone, so now with the final episode of Future Side: Re-Write now up and finish and having taken some days off; I'm going to write some announcements regarding this blog and plans for Hope Side: Re-Write.
//Honestly I am relieve that I was able to get this done and now I'm gonna take a year off from writing and relax before I start planning for Hope Side: Re-Write and continue on the story.
//I feel like I do need to do this after I finish up everything and now that I've relax, I can start talking about somethings and why I wanted to write this story.
//Now when it came to writing for DTFA, I knew that from the start; I realize that Chiaki being a real person wasn't the only issue but many other flaws and retcons came from DR3 that I had to re-write everything and based them more on the games and what was presented.
//So instead of having DR3 being set in a killing game, I felt that having it be an investigation of Hope's Peak Academy made way more sense and also to show Future Foundation being much more flawed and what needed to be change but also to realize that Hope's Peak Academy isn't that beacon of hope but instead something that was very corrupted for decades that the Steering Committee cause which Junko took advantage of and since most Ultimate Despairs are either dead or rehabilitated with some exceptions, meaning that Ultimate Despair isn't as much of a problem anymore.
//When it came to Class 77-B being redeem, I wanted to give Future Foundation a reason to work with them and that's when the idea of the briefcases came up; Junko having all the documents and information in briefcases that Class 77-B hid and there the only ones able to open it meaning that they are force to work with them and meanwhile, Class 77-B as a whole would have to work on redeeming themselves to Future Foundation and becoming better people for it.
//Now of course when writing this, I did come to the problem; how exactly could a whole class side with Junko so easily, especially when you look at Chisa Yukizome and since the anime made her out to be this good teacher that the class really like? So since I didn't want to use brainwashing, I decided to have Chisa to be Class 78-A's teacher for Makoto's class and also that was when Satoko was created. This was done for 2 reasons.
1 - It would explain why Makoto's class were able to get along and become close in the course of 2 years and even telling them things they wouldn't tell others, especially if they had a teacher that was encouraging them to bond and become friends.
2 - Chisa becoming a teacher very quickly after she graduated was a very odd choice and since Hope's Peak Academy is meant to be a school for the elite; I figure that the school would have staff be more prepare and need a year of prep to prepare them for anything and since Chisa was in the same year as Kyosuke and Juzo, I went with her being Class 78-A's teacher.
//Now of course I wanted to have a theme for the story that I want to tell and it's the idea that the world doesn't need Hope's Peak Academy anymore, that anyone can be a beacon of hope and people need to stop relying constantly on Ultimates and the Ultimate Caste System - something Future Foundation needed to realize to become better or change needed to happen.
//I will admit, there were some flaws with the story that I did notice and won't deny that it had it's flaws - I will admit that there are some story aspects that I wasn't too happy about and wish I could change some of it but well, we all learn, right?
//Now that we got this story, the next plan is for Hope Side: Re-Write where we continue on the investigation, 5 remaining briefcases to collect, what the passwords we're for, make Future Foundation a better place and how the world at large is reacting to the idea that the Ultimate Caste System won't be in effect anymore and what Nagi is gonna do now that she got what she wanted.
Wait, I know how I would write the AU where Nagi enters the killing game alongside everyone else, but what would the death order be if she entered the simulation alongside everyone else?
//Hmm, well if going with everything with SDR2 and if keeping motives the same, I will write down the victims and blackens of each chapter;
Chapter 1 - V: Nagito | B: Teruteru
I think that Nagi would assist with cleaning the warehouse along with Nagito and Teruteru, mostly her excuse is that she wanted to clean up but in reality it's to keep an eye on them. Of course Nagito is still gonna want to start the killing game but I do imagine that after Nagito set everything up - he still went along with it and while Nagi does advise Teruteru to not try anything but given his mother is sick, he decided to kill Nagito.
Chapter 2 - V: Fuyuhiko | B: Imposter
So if going with the idea that it's a video game, I do think Imposter is going to suggest someone monitor it so no one plays the game, however Nagi decides to play the game first to get the motive and keep it in her room; mostly her reasons is that she has no idea about this case and was curious and I do picture Fuyuhiko does play it but doesn't get the prize as Nagi got it first.
So he goes to Nagi and demands to see the prize, which she was reluctant and only agrees that they should talk with the others about it, so Nagi decides to approach Mahiru, Mikan, Ibuki and Hiyoko about the game; now all the girls were getting ready for the beach party as Sonia suggested and with Nagi joining them, she decides to ask them which Hiyoko accuses Nagi of trying to commit murder but Nagi does tell them that no, she simply suggested they could talk about it since their names were in the credits but Hiyoko suggest that game could be fake since they often give warnings and even jokes that Nagi takes video games 'too seriously' while Mikan says she never plays video games and Ibuki finds that game weird.
However Mahiru was listening and did grow curious of that game and play it, she admitted that she did want to talk with someone about it but wasn't sure so Nagi brings Mahiru to her room and show her, Nagi would tell Mahiru that she did show Fuyuhiko and he wanted demanded answers and while nervous she did agree.
I do imagine Fuyuhiko, Mahiru and Nagi met at the beach house which Nagi does play mediator for the 2 to understand the game, of course Fuyuhiko did not react well to learning that Mahiru cover his sister's death but Mahiru reveals she didn't even know the Sato in that game which Nagi suggest that Mahiru does talk about her history with Natsumi which Mahiru does bring up a few things but sadly due to how Mahiru worded it, Fuyuhiko reacted poorly and was about to grab the bat and when Nagi goes in to protect Mahiru suddenly Imposter rushes in, grabs the baseball bat and hits Fuyuhiko.
Yep, turns out Imposter knew what Nagi was doing and calls her out for being tempted by the motive and trying to deal with this on her own but Nagi's focus is on Mahiru so she removes her from the area as the girl was scared.
At the end of the trial, when some of the other were giving Nagi a hard time for what she did, especially Peko; Mahiru calls them all out and tells them that if they are gonna get mad at Nagi, then they better get mad at her as she play the game too since Nagi was only trying to help.
I'm not sure of chapters 3, 4 or 5 but these are the ones I do have a general idea.
//Um, sorry but I'm not comfortable with the idea of Mikado having a twin; I feel Mikado just being this weird creature that should be deleted and straight up evil is far more fitting.
