Is It Easier To Fight Greed Or Despair?
[ â ] â Â Â Gotou was shocked speechless, hands curling tightly around the weapon in his hands - if theyâd been visible, his knuckles would be visibly white.
âYouâve made your point,â he hissed through gritted teeth. He raised the shotgun again, aiming directly at the monster. âWhat are you?â
He wasnât expecting a clean-cut answer, but he was hoping the question would distract the creature long enough for Gotou to get a good shot in, and as long as he was distracted with Gotou, he likely wouldnât go for the civilians again - at least, until he was dead. Which he prayed, to whatever god might be out there, wouldnât happen.
"Aahhh. Let's see, what aaaam I?" The green hand stroked his armored chin in a mocking fashion.Â
He could answer this question several ways, but just answering it would be boring. He had to tease this new figure as much as he could.Â
"A Phantom?" He said as if in question, before moving in the blink of an eye next to the other.Â
"Or am I human? That's a question people love to ask. Hihihihi.âÂ
As if he had always been there, he slid down the railing of a nearby set of stairs, without a care in the world. When he landed, he put his arms behind his back and leaned slightly.Â
"Recently 'monster' seems to be a crowd favorite. Hihihihi. But, it really doesn't matter what I am!"Â
And once again as if he teleported he was back to the group of people, holding the face of one in his hand, as if he was inspecting a precious material. Both gentle, yet frightening in his hold, he tilted the person's head to each side while still talking.Â
"What matters is what I do! And that is bring despair to all Gates! Without Misa-chan, I can't tell a gate from a normal person though. So I just have to make everyone despair. Hihihi. Wouldn't you say I'm far more fair this way? Hihihihi~"
