Scared, confused, completely without direction… The poor girl had every indication that she’d never had contact with anyone but the scientist and the robots he created. It seemed this version of the man couldn’t restore the memories of the dead in the same way their own could…
The lights cut out, the whole facility becoming pitch black in an instant. The soldier shot his hands forwards, grabbing the other hedgehog around the shoulders and drawing her back to his chest as he put a hand over her mouth.
“ I’m not gonna hurt you,
just listen;
either you peacefully
follow me out of here
and meet my partner,
or you wait until
the Doctor comes back
and questions why his base
went down on your watch.
Your choice. ”
Molly may have been a friend in her past life, but with her only moral compass in this one being the Doctor, who knew what she was willing or able to do. There were too many variables right now; how sane her Eggman was, how open she would be to outside viewpoints, how much or how little she knew about her past… Until proven otherwise, he had to assume she would cut him down at a moment’s notice.
Letting go of the girl, the soldier jumped past her and into the hallway before lighting his hands with Chaos energy to see with. Casting one last glance at her, he kicked his skates to life and ran to meet his partner outside.
Molly let a muffled scream which was when the light went out and the black hedgehog grabbed her; covering her mouth.
She was only getting more stress from this situation.
Her head was spinning to the point she found it difficult to focus however the orange hedgehog still manage to listen the other’s words. She knew she shouldn’t trust the other however something kept telling her to trust him.
Curiosity was also wasn’t helping either. She wanted to know why the other knew her name despite having no prior contact and who his partner were. He also had a point that she would have to explain to the doctor why the base collapsed under her watch.
The hedgehog only watch as some form of energy appear in the his hands and giving her one last glance before skating off, leaving her in the dark room... It took her a couple of minutes debating whether or not to take the offer before finally deciding to follow the black hedgehog
There were too many questions
She needed answers and standing in the dark will not provide them.
