“listen this is going to sound terrible but sending p.hilip to the past was the worst decision the dir.ector could have ever made bc he makes decisions based off his heart not his mind, or logic . like in the beginning he let deaths happen bc he knew he could ruin stuff but he feels so terrible about every single death he ever lets happen . like in s2 when he was getting the reboot he was literally having a fucking breakdown when all the other historians just accepted it all , they let it happen , but p.hilip wants to SAVE PEOPLE and he can’t and he feels worthless because of it and no matter how many people he saves from his missions it’ll never be enough because there’s So Many More he could save and he literally can’t because he knows it could do more harm than good but he literally just wants everyone to be saved and he cares about humanity so fucking much he would rather die both in the past and the future than have to live with the fact that people are going to die and he can’t save them

like in ep1 you can SEE how he wants to save real p.hilip’s friend but he knows he can’t

and whenever they have to do prot.ocol 5 he’s so fucking upset bc everyone else has lives to go back to, parents, friends, significant others, CHILDREN and p.hilip literally has to sit alone all day knowing he could be out saving people but he fucking can’t because history says they have to die and that’s no fair to him”

DOUBT  MADE    /    MISFORTUNE  BLESSED  .    a  knot  in  her  stomach  has  been  forming  over  weeks.  it’s  tangled  and  oozing  ,  pouring  anxiety  into  veins.  tea  is  her  comfort  and  her  only  remedy  ,  but  it  is  not  melting  away  all  her  problems.  she  feels  her  body  shaking  and  the  touch  to  her  shoulder  only  worsens  it.  sob  swells  in  her  throat  ,  eyes  blink  ,  shedding  tears  down  crimson  cheeks.  from  behind  blonde  hair  ,  a  glance  is  stolen.    ❛    nobody’s  sitting  there.    ❜     rushed  words  are  contaminated  by  an  unsteady  voice.  she  is  anything  but  stable.    ❛    it’s  all  yours.    ❜

words rush to your ears.  at first glance, you miss it    :    the way her body tenses, then shuttered.  the way she glaces and immediately recovers her face.  come on, teodus, you’re more observant than that.  you’re moving your bag to the table before it clicks, and your eyes are drifting back towards her.  you let yourself sit before you scoot your seat a bit closer to hers, careful to keep your voice low.      ❛   miss, i know it’s none of my business, but are you okay  ?  it seems like you’re crying.   ❜      what a way to verbalize your concern.  with a shake of your head, you move your hands to your lap, your eyes gazing upon your mug for a moment, your thoughts coming to a better way to voice your worry.      ❛   what i mean is, is there something you’d perhaps like to talk about  ?   ❜
