Scientist: “Well we are in a me-” *Monotaro breaks the scientist’s neck and opens the door fully.*

Monotaro: “Tenagn! Show your self or I’ll burn this place to the ground!”

Tengan: “Goodness. I guess the crazy runs in the monofamily.”

Kokichi: “Over my rotting corpse. Either tell me a way I can help, or I’ll keep using demon tricks Komaru taught me.”

Both assassins glare at Monotaro, and Maki injects him with a paralysis agent.

Maki: “AND STAY DOWN, YOU CUNT.”

*As Tengan lays down, dying, a slow clap comes from behind one of the testing pods. It was…Tengan? And Tengan too? And another Tengan, and another……Oh boy. Tengan’s been cloning himself.*

Tengan: “My word. It seems we have some troublesome kids. Clones, let us take care of these naughty children.” *And then the clones all charge at the assassins and starts attacking them all at once.*

Kokichi: “I can’t just stand here and do nothing. I… I have to do something to help… Because my best friend deserves to know that I didn’t just abandon him or leave him for dead.”

Maki: “SHIT!”

Maki is suddenly regretting hitting Taro with that drug, because now he can’t help them. Kokichi manages to take out two, and Maki manages to take out three.

He glares at Taro.

Kokichi: “THIS IS WHY WE DON’T FUCKING ANNOUNCE OUR MISSION, YOU FUCKING DUMBASS!”

“He already knows you’d never abandoned him. Why else would he save you? Because he cares about you just as much. But if you really wish to help, then let your self recover. Please. For him.”

*Taro says nothing as he falls to the floor, revealing a cardboard cutout of himself with a note saying ‘Get under the table you two!’ on it’s back.*

Kokichi starts softly tracing circles on his wrists, finally beginning to be gentle with himself. At least…

“This is all my fault…”

The two assassins dive under the table and start hiding, though both are prepared to attack at any time.

“Nonsense. You’re as innocent in this mess as they come. You have nothing to be blammed for.”

*And then, a needle storm falls upon most of the Tengan clones, killing nearly every single one of them. Once the storm stop, the last one tries to escape, but is stopped by Monotaro who appears in front of him from a smoke bomb.*

“Hello, old man…..!”

“D-Damn it!”

“That’s not true… I should’ve known something was gonna happen… I should’ve done things differently… Because now… Now they’re both gone… I failed to protect even one of them…”

Honestly, he may go back to prostitution and self-harm if he believes he deserves to be punished.

Maki lunges for Tengan and slits his throat, watching as he slowly drowns in his own blood.

“Good work team! Now we have a means to locate the other DR scientists.”

The two assassins check the list for the next name.

“Monokuma and I learned that they were planning on using you as their newest mastermind for their newest killing games. SO in another to sabotage their plans was to save you from their cletches.”

*The next target was a woman from Russia, who is currently hiding out in a base near Novoselic.*

“How would they even do that? I’d never agree to be a mastermind. Or are you implying they’d brainwash me or wipe my memories?”

After a long groan from the assassins, they start pulling Taro by his wrists to the base.

“Technically, you did. A version of you did. But even if you didn’t, you’re not wrong that they would’ve done that anyway. At least now that you’re safe, Monodam and Monokuma will be able to rest easy.”

*Monotaro does some ninja hands signs and they teleport to Novoselic near the base.*

After a moment of tearing up and thinking, Kokichi slowly shakes his head.

“Sh-Shut up… I kill people for money, a-and you can be next…!”

Pouting, Kokichi follows after Taro. Maki rolls her eyes and follows, as well.

“Then let your health and strength return. Soon, we’ll get Monodam back and get your revenge on Kodaka. I promise.”

*Monotaro chuckles as they see the woman their hunting entering the building. Monotaro hands Maki a poison bomb and points to the chimney on the base. He holds his hands down, ready to help her up to the roof.*

“…O-Okay… I trust you… Thank you, Hina-Chan…”

Congratulations, Hajime! You’ve gained his trust. Now he’ll obey whatever you tell him to do.

Kokichi joins Monotaro in the formation for added help getting Maki up there. Maki takes it, stepping on their hands and hoisting herself up onto the roof. She pulls the pin with her teeth, and drops it into the chimney before sprinting away, grabbing Taro and Kokichi, too.

“Thank you, Kokichi. Take care.” *Izuru/Hajime rubs Kokichi’s head.*

*An explosion occurs, filling the base up with poisonious gas, killing nearly everyone inside. Monotaro gives Kokichi a sniper rifle and tell hims to wait for someone to open the door….After a while, someone opens the door. It was their target.*

Kokichi leans into Hajime's hand, nuzzling into the touch and smiling softly.

"I will... Let me know if there's anything I can do to help."

Kokichi does exactly that. He shoots the target repeatedly, so violently and viciously that one might wonder if he had a vendetta against her, himself. And in a way, he does.
