Despite only being there for a few days, Rain was already enjoying his new job. The shop, although located in a popular area, brought him a strong feeling of calm; working with the plants and flowers reminded him of his old home back in the country. It was like he had never even left; he was able to work in the soil again, and the scent of it all made him feel as though he was in his foster motherās garden. Of course, not having that family here with him made it all the more difficult.. but the young man knew that he would see them again someday. He was in Tancho for them, and to help better himself; that gave him all the determination in the world to keep going.
Besides, he was sure that this job would keep him busy enough.. he had already spent the morning cleaning and tidying the supplies in the back; still sorting through different boxes on the shelves. He had gotten pretty lost in his thoughts, humming to himself as he workedā that is, until he heard a voice from someone by the register, and excitement instantly filled his features.
āAh- Iām here! In the back!ā juggling a few boxes, Rain suddenly appeared from the back room; a wide smile on his face as he began to greet his first customer of the day. He looked to be a bit of a mess, already letting a few things slip from his arms; but his smile was earnest, and he was obviously very happy to have someone to tend to.
āWhat can I do for you today?ā
Ah, he was certainly bright. It wasnāt unpleasant though. Helios preferred dealing with nicer, friendlier people. The angry ones were more work than he wanted. Oh right, why he was here. He fished around in his pocket for a moment before removing a folded up piece of paper. There was a coffee stain on the corner; his boss mustāve spilled something on it.
Ā Ā Ā ā Iām here to pick up some flowers ...? Iām not really sure what Iām looking for.Ā ā
Helios unfolded the paper but he could barely read the gibberish scribbled on it. Thanks boss.
