Having flowers within the bar was a reasonable idea. They were nice and often brightened things up quite a bit-- not that really going to a bar was supposed to be a “bright” experience. Helios didn’t understand why he had to be the one to go pick them up though. Perhaps this flower shop didn’t do deliveries. At least his bar wasn’t that far away.
The little bell jingled as he opened the door. He was hit with the overwhelming scent of flowers, plants, and wet soil. It kind of reminded him of when it rained. Helios glanced around but didn’t see an employee anywhere. He wandered to the counter, setting a hand on the cold surface.
“ Hello ? Is anyone here ? “
