Dean finds himself in this world where he realizes that Oh No, five years into the future he’s not only hooked up with Cas, he might love him.

Whoa, how the hell did the heller read THAT into the scene? 

Future!Dean was obviously sleeping with WOMEN. Future!Cass was having an orgy with WOMEN. There was NO indication that Future!Dean and Future!Cass were ‘together’. 

And then Cas saves him from this terrible universe and Dean’s like “oh. Oh no. I think I love him.”

I don’t recall Dean telling Castiel that.  THEY really do not understand the concept of ‘friendship’ do they.
