Created this account after meeting "The Witness's Left Testy" during a strike, which launched myself, my sibling, and my friend into a debate about the spelling of Testy.
I rely on queue to give the illusion of activity.
Blog gets a little bit not-safe sometimes because of the nature of some names. they're tagged as nsft. See below the cut for the full list of filter tags, and what they mean. PLEASE tell me if I miss tagging a post.
Submissions encouraged.
"Nsft" is used as a general 'this is vaguely weird' tag. 80% of posts are probably going to have this. "DEFINITELY not safe for tumblr" is also for the ones that get a little too raunchy.
"Dong mention" is used for names that include the mention of a dong.
"Puss mention" is used for names that include the mention of a puss.
"Feet stuff" for... feet stuff. I'm not kidding.
"Onlyfans mention" for onlyfans-based names
"Drug mention" for names that mention drugs. I'm not fully familiar with all the different things people call drugs, so bear with me on that one.
"Objectification" "<Character> objectification" is a pair of tags that spans a WIDE ARRAY of characters. A non-exhaustive list includes Savathun, Ikora Rey, Saint-14, Mara Sov, Elsie Bray, Shaxx, Cayde-6, Banshee-44, Ada-1, Drifter, Crota, Oryx.
This list is nonexhaustive because of the nature of the array of names I find.
For clarity, I am not against, nor am I shaming, anyone who has these names or are into these characters. I simply want to make this blog a safe space for people who are sensitive about the treatment of certain characters.
Tumblr Destiny community, help me out: how does posting screenshots of other players' names work?
Do you ask each of them if it's fine to share, are you friends with them, it is not considered a breach in privacy...?
Also, if I believe to have found somebody from Tumblr (like a mutual or someone I see around often) and tag them with a screenshot to receive a confirmation (in a friendly manner ofc), is that generally considered okay or nah?
In my experience, someone with a silly name has created their silly name with the intent of making other people laugh. Thus why the trend of silly names is so widespread in Destiny.
So long as a screenshot doesn't include the number identifier at the end, it's not really a breach of privacy, just a screenshot of something funny online. Like a meme or a twitter screenshot.
No clue about asking people about their names. Probably just do so in an ask or a message, rather than a post?
