So I made it to 100 followers earlier yesterday and I’m just super happy?!?! I’ve only had this account for I think three and half weeks!! Ben started out as being male! Beth on my previous account but I got really attached to him and decided to officially make him an OC and have his own story, the AHS and Star Wars fandom have been SO good to Ben and also the mun and I’m so thankful that you all welcomed my muse with open arms. hey !  sorry if this is late, i haven’t been on here in a while for some personal reasons ( more like i've been working on a new oc for a while now but i'm still here !! stuff drafted 'n whatnot ) . also uh , i mean … i don’t know ?  while i do feel flattered you feel this way , i mean , i think so ?  wanting  &  asking if anyone can use my tate hcs .  i suppose it depends on … what … kind of hc you’re exactly referring to ?  since obvs this is how i see tate and people might differ from it since we all see characters differently but uh … i’m not sure . now you got me .  maybe message me off anon and we can talk about it ?  chances are i’ll probs say yes as long as you credit me somewhere  ?

🙋 + hobbies/favorite movies or types of movies/drinks

send me a  🙋 + a headcanon you’d like to know about my muse !

omg. this is going to be long so i apologize in advance haha ! 

hobbies-wise, i like to think tate really enjoyed videogames! he had a nintendo game boy omfg. other than that, he would usually go to those… videogame shops? i forgot the name of them in english, sorry ahahah. but that would be only whenever he had spare money. he really enjoyed reading, too. other than books about birds, i also believe he enjoyed reading poems  ( and that he would also write them ) and read books more on the philosophical side. he would be usually seen at his school’s library, sitting down alone in a table very concentrated in his reading. he also liked to hang around by the basement or attic, especially if that meant finding out stuff from the old owners. 

speaking about the attic, i can see how tate really enjoyed spending sometime beside his brother, beauregard, before both their deaths. even after, so to speak. in some way, tate envied him. he envied the fact his brother had a pure heart. yet it was more of like … a harmless type of envy. he knew both beau and addie were full of light, and truly… he wished he could be as well. 

as a child, he enjoyed playing with both of them. he didn’t have many friends, so sometimes he’d play dolls with addie. he would either use one of his own toys or just play with hers, he didn’t particularly mind. he enjoyed playing dollhouse. there were times in which he would play outside, in the house’s garden or in front of it. running around with addie or even playing football, but of course we all know how that wouldn’t last long since constance would soon tell them to stop  &  get inside the house. 

as a teen, he really enjoyed music too. he would usually lay around on his bedroom while listening to songs by nirvana, david bowie, the cranberries or some other singers / bands he enjoyed on his stereo. at times he’d listen to them while reading a comic book. after deadpool’s first appearance in 1991, i imagine tate liked him quite a lot. he was also a big joker fan and would sometimes, especially if close to halloweens, do a joker inspired makeup. 

i imagine he also liked to shoot guns. still, i gotta think how he learned to do it. where he got guns and whatnot. but i can see how he’d enjoy shooting at cans or old stuffed animals (  think like … that zero day scene? if you’ve ever seen it? idk how to explain, i’m sorry!  ) . 

he also enjoyed going to the beach, especially if at night, quite a lot. that’s something that was showed in the season, but i figured out it was still nice to list it here !   

also i’m not sure if i should list it as a hobbie… so i’m going to list it as a bonus / random headcanon rather than anything. also i don’t think he considered himself to be an addict, but he did enjoy either smoking weed or snorting cocaine. i imagine for the last one, he would go to the cortez to buy it, which enters the whole mh / hotel crossover ryan has done already. it was also known for it’s drug deals, and since tate was a user of it i thought it’d really make sense for him to buy there. other than pills, i imagine those were the only drugs he had tried during that time. i’d enter the reasons of why he’s done it and whatnot, but i figure out this would make this post even more long and tiring to read - so i’ll most likely make it a separate post some day. 

movies wise, i’ve mentioned already here! also lmfao i think tate also likes the 80s house ( i forgot how many there were? three? four? ) movies. he thought they were funny at some parts ?? but never scary. he’s seen a few mafia movies too, but isn’t particularly that into them. still, he really likes the godfather movies and the goodfellas. he also enjoys the poltergeist movie. 

drinks, hmm… when it comes to soda, he’s more of a mountain dew or dr pepper person. i don’t think tate was particularly into alcohol, but he has had a bit of constance’s whisky. did not like the taste. he also really enjoys milk, too. his favorite juices were either orange, grape or cranberry. he also really likes water and would often drink it whenever.

🙋 + movies

send me a 🙋 + a headcanon you’d like to know about my muse ! 

tate likes a lot of movies that today are and can be considered cult movies. might be a bit obvious, but he was quite into the horror genre - especially if movies about zombies (  most specifically romero zombies .  )  .  it was more in the way of like … he found them entertaining ?  not scary or particularly meant to scare people away, but it would rather yet make him laugh.  you could say that, for teen tate, it was kind of how disney is for some kids / teens.  other than that, tate is also an avid kubrick fan. he’s seen almost all kubrick movies - name it and he knows it.  also, such as any good cute nerd, he also really likes star wars - although i don’t think he’s as crazy for the movies as some people are. 

it is safe to say he really likes movies. i mean - he is really into them. possibly not only as much as he is into music. one of his favorites, albeit another i assume it’s quite obvious you’d think of him to like, is pulp fiction. yeah, it was months after his death  (  i assume he died / performed the shooting in the beginning of 1994, rather than the ending of it. possibly around march, april or may. he was close to graduate.  ) .  anyways, i assume whenever a new buyer would move into the house, or even if there was still some furniture and energy hadn’t been cut yet for good  (  such as tv  )  left behind, he would take his time in catching up with some movies that would be aired on tv. which means, he only saw those that came after his death whenever they’d air on tv - which also includes pulp fiction, fight club, kill bill, american psycho, american beauty and any other movies he’d particularly enjoy. 

he isn’t much about recent movies ??  whenever he is able to, he tries to watch them. but the house hasn’t been bought yet, energy hasn’t been paid for and constance’s visits are becoming a bit more scarce if in comparison to what they once used to be. but of course, her love for tate is undeniable so she still visits him. it’s just that, with and after michael, tate’s son has become her number one priority for the time being. therefore, he isn’t really watching that many movies as for now.
