her lashes flutter in consideration, then recognition. it slides across the surfaces of her eyes like detached retinas. that would be lovely, wouldn’t it? to cut to ribbons by him, to have her skull smashed into a million impossible pieces, or to have her insides turned out, like a gutted fish. she has dreamt of this very moment since her first breath. it was agonizing to be made, all - alive, or maybe not, because her body is empty as an autumn husk, or the forgotten exoskeleton of an insect. aizen, god that he is, creates life but does not consider the pains of being a living thing. that weight is carried by sephiroth alone and it has made her head heavy and shoulders sloped from the strain.

still, bowing, eyes downcast, her too - long limbs falling from her torso like the willow, she stands taller than grimmjow. he might hate her for it. like many men before him, he cannot stomach that which is better than him. sephiroth cants her head, her whole upper body swaying with the movement. arboreal, she is moved by the passing winds in her furthest extremities, but her feet stay planted; she does not budge, not even when he snaps his jaws at her. only her eyes flicker with an implacable emotion. he reeks of death and she is desperate for release.

the beginnings of a smile eke onto her otherwise impassive face. excitement tightens the muscles in her thighs and stomach. “ when you eat me, will you savor it? ” she can’t help herself. her eyes focus on a predator’s canine in that big mouth, chalk full of teeth. “ or will you swallow me whole? like a dog. i wonder. ”
