#madewithpaper / fiftythree.com I know this germ is poorly done, but I sat up at 3 in the morning with an aching head, and started painting it. This is what I think I picked up in town. Do be careful when you go out, in case one of these is lurking on a shop door handle or bus pole.

I am not at home with drawing… tend to look at an object and think,“How can I possibly represent that??” I guess it takes practice! I should take a proper sketchpad next time.

Used greys on a Max Liberman grid in Paper 53 on iPad. I was probably procrastinating. 😸

There are no layers, no space to store bits that you move around, and the tools are fairly limited… so tasks such as putting an even gradient in the background are tricky.

Scott Olson made the base grid in Paper 53 and I coloured it in. I hasten to add I don’t spend all my time on these…. there are other things in the pipeline, but I went through a spell of doing these in 2015. 😋

Max Liberman’s grid again, with different colours. Again, I probably did this in 2015. These are already posted on the Paper 53 site, but I hope to do more work in the app in the future.

I think, for me, it is a novelty and challenge compared with other apps.

Used to be on Paper's Mix, but didn't do much while there. The Mix Public Stream is due to close on August 15th. For several months I considered joining Tumblr, but it was the stream's impending closure that finally prompted me. Perhaps I was infected by others' sense of urgency. :-) I did like to see what people had been drawing, so this will fill the gap nicely. Glad to meet you all.
