Though I keep my askbox open for all my writing blogs, I'm not currently interested in writing anything for the Detroit: Become Human fandom, apologies!
You're more than welcome to send ideas and requests at any time though, since I never quite know what thing will catch my creative fancy next c:
Hello suki, I was wondering if you still active or not since you're one of my main blog to see hot takes and valid HCs for DBH.. And I know for a fact that the fandom is slowly dying and that I've just getting started having my own what ifs for it so I hope it's not to late to talk about DBH things? Also... By any chance, did Tumblr swallowed my asks? Because I have sent few last month I guess. đ
Unfortunately, I have fallen a bit out of fandom for D:BH. I took a break from writing for a while due to some stressors that are still ongoing at work and donât plan on being back into D:BH for a bit, so I apologize for that!
That said, the askbox is always open for requests, even if I canât currently fill them, and thereâs never something wrong with sending me a non-request ask if you want to talk about something or invite others to talk about it as well!
As far as I know, tumblr hasnât eaten any asks sent this way--as of right now there are over 70 messages for this blogâs inbox, so Iâm sure theyâre in there somewhere >w>;;;
Hello, do you still accept asks about characters or anything in general? I find the need to talk about something to clear my mind from this fandom's ongoing shipping discourse
Absolutely! I havenât had a lot of time or motivation to do a lot for Detroit: Become Human as of late (in terms of requests) but Iâm always happy to have a conversation about characters and the game or whatnot--send it in friendo!
Hey there! I just found your blog through AO3 and saw the gigANTIC list of requests you have (I left a couple of comments on there too~~) and I was wondering if I could borrow some of the ideas? Like, writing my own intepretation for them? I'll credit your blog of course!
And thatâs not all of them either! I still have about 70-ish requests still in my inbox that I have to get over to that list!
I totally welcome other people to nab ideas from my request list to use--thatâs partially why its there! I certainly donât own any of those ideas, and itâs really fun to see how other people write an idea--and if you tag me, Iâd love to read what you write from them!
Ever thought about maybe starting a role play section of the DBH discord server you have ? The idea seems interesting to me, but I'm not sure how it would pan out.
It hasnât crossed my mind as anything horribly important of a to-do, but itâs certainly always a question when making a social server or such! I donât have terribly much experiencing with organizing an RP element within a server, but I can start looking into maybe adding a couple!Â
Let me know what you guys think and Iâll certainly consider it! After all, if enough people think it would make the server more fun, then I donât see why not!

It's on the info page for him in the character gallery in the extras menu :3
Ohh! Canât say Iâm surprised, I havenât had a chance to sift through all the âextrasâ though thereâs probably enough points on me nâ my girlfriendâs game to get all of it; either way, thank you! c:

The Wiki page says he was beaten up, to near death, by drunken students
It does! But since it doesnât have a reference anywhere for that and I havenât seen that information in the game or in the fandom-o-sphere, I donât know if thatâs actually true in canon or not. If someone can tell me where specifically thatâs from in the game or other media, lemme know!
Either way I like my headcanon better because frick u david cage >:V
Summary: Headcanons of Dinah Cooper (aka Seven) as she meets, bonds and falls for Daniel after the events of the game.
Note: This is a commission for @crownandantler and their OC Dinah! Iâve written for Dinah in the Fallout fandom, but it was super fun to do this--especially since Iâm quite fond of Daniel (heâs a fun character to play with).
If you are interested in getting a commission from me, you can check out all the pertinent information right here!
When Dinah is introduced to Daniel, her life is a teetering rock on the edge of a cliff. The world had thrown itself from one extreme to the other in a matter of months; tension, chaos, revolution and finally back to what some people wanted to force as the very normalcy that so many craved. The android revolution had thrown a lot of things into chaos, but Dinah had been dealing with the social issues months before it had ever been a national concern--it came from how close she had pushed herself as an advocate for those the world chose not to respect.
With charges of harboring fugitives freshly dropped from her name, Dinah was left to wonder how much she could trust the same people who had been so ready to throw her in jail (or worse) simply because she was trying to save innocent beings from a merciless end. The revolution--the Great Deviation as some called it--had little impact on her repair business. Hell, if anything, Lucky Seven Secondhand was given a new breath of life from the work brought in by newly-freed androids who wanted a trusted hand to repair them when they were injured. Dinah was a human whoâd proven herself genuine into the cause for android freedom, so she came to see as many androids as she could each day; a lot of them had lingering issues and injuries that needed repair.
It came from this that Dinah met Daniel. He came in with injuries unlike anything sheâd seen on anyone else, a level of disrepair and unkept mechanics that she was amazed that he was still alive, let alone able to walk.
âSomeone told me to come here,â he had snapped at her, wanting so little to talk. âAre you going to fix me or not?â
There was a fair portion of Dinahâs work that was charitable; after all, she wouldnât ask for money from androids who had been seen as objects themselves months before, it wasnât as if any of them had the money to spare in the first place. No, like a lot of her other work, Dinah fixed Daniel for free--but it had to take place over the course of a week. There was simply so much damage done to him that sheâd need to replace parts over time, making sure with each replacement that he wouldnât have a negative reaction. There was no telling what his body would do when it had been without proper care, upgrades and updates for nearly a year.
The relationship between Dinah and Daniel is hardly a friendship--one could hardly call it anything, especially when Daniel acts so antagonistic around her for the entire time heâs there that first week. Day in and day out, he comes to get his next repair or replacement part, always curt and never kind. Dinah takes the anger with a grain of salt--she canât blame him for how angry he feels, there must have been something horrible in his life to have left him in the state he was in when he came to her shop. She never pried into his life, and soon enough Daniel was fixed up enough to go on with whatever life he chose.
But then he started showing up regularly.
There was a scratch here, a little gash there, he needed more thirium; it always seemed to be something that he needed, something so he could visit Dinah and slowly, very slowly, he started talking to her. It started with simple, little topics; the weather, her shop, exchange of names⊠It wasnât anything too personal, but Dinah felt like she was getting to know Daniel all the same. He seemed like a man who was especially protective of his past and self, it was nice to see him open up to her, even if it was just a little.
Weeks blended into months, seeing Daniel become a familiar face within Lucky Seven Secondhand. He had opened up to Dinah considerably in that time, but he still wouldnât stay for long nor talk about what had happened to cause all of the injuries that he had met her with so long before. It was a secret he guarded, and one that Dinah did not care to pull from him if he didnât want to give it.
Friendship was an odd description of their relationship, especially as time progressed. It accounted for the familiarity between the two, but it didnât quite cover how protective Daniel began to feel for her, how close he kept and how he fell into such a domestic role in her life.
It wasnât a secret that Daniel was a PL600 model; Dinah was familiar with some features and had pieced it together over time, though it wasnât a topic she bothered to ask about; model numbers didnât matter anymore after all, but it did serve as a bit of background information that helped her understand and not question when Daniel, a model formerly made for purposes of housekeeping and domestic chores, was suddenly in her house and doing Dinahâs laundry.
âYou need to take better care of your home,â Daniel had said, voice curt but intentions warm. âWhen was the last time you did a deep clean of your kitchen?â
Daniel had, without rhyme or reason, made himself quite a home for himself in more ways than one. Itâs not so much that he asked to live with Dinah, but more on the fact that he was just...there, all the time. He helped take care of so much domestic work that Dinah couldnât ask him to leave (especially since she feared he didnât have any home to return to). So she just...let him stay, didnât question it at all, and did her best to incorporate her new companion into her life (and it wasnât that hard, he was already in the shop all the time as it was--his companionship was nice).
The only hint that their relationship was romantic came when Daniel started sleeping with Dinah in her bed--as in she would wake up to him laying beside her, blue eyes striking as they met her own.
âDid you sleep well?â heâd ask, almost every morning.
It wasnât aggressive and Dinah certainly didnât feel as though Danielâs intentions were anything other than good, but it was odd all the same--it was the only time that the woman decided to prod (gently) into the manâs thoughts, if only to understand how he saw things.
Of course, Daniel took time to open up. Sheâd have to catch him in good moments, the rare times that he smiled at her or let his guard down just a bit--it took a lot of trust and even more care into the manâs emotions, but eventually Daniel talked about it.
He trusted her. Thatâs simply all there was to it--he trusted her because she was kind to him, because she was sweet, because she didnât toss him aside like a piece of trash even when she had every right to; hell, he could have been arrested for simply being a nusiance to her for always being at her shop, somehow getting into Dinahâs house (to which he wouldnât explain how he did).
Daniel eventually told her about what happened. Before. With his injuries. He explained how he originally deviated, all from one singular moment of anger and fear when he learned the family who he was with was planning on getting rid of him. He thought he was part of something, was important to someone, and the family had that idea shoved down the drain. He was nearly killed in the holdout with law enforcement and...a lot of broken, fuzzy memories up until someone had directed them to Dinahâs repair shop.
Despite having plenty of reasons to kick him aside, Dinah had given Daniel so much--like it or not, he was absolutely smitten with Dinah and, honestly, he was very much apart of her life.
As weeks and months went by, there was a lot of things that people could say to describe the relationship between them. Friendship, companions, partners---Dinah herself just called it love, since thatâs how she felt about Daniel, after taking care of him and helping him heal through his past trauma, as he helped her grow and open up to him in kind.
Hey, is it ok if I send my idea for the drabble/headcanon I won in the giveaway here since it's about dbh anyway? First of all, thank you again for doing this and also organizing something as amazing as the giveaway in the first place. I would reallylove something with alpha-Hank claiming the reader as his omega for the first time if that is alright with you? Hank doesn't get all that much love in the fandom and I totally fell in love with the omegaverse because of you. Have a great week :)
Here it is filled out friendo!
Iâm delighted I made you like omegaverse! Itâs an interesting AU that a lot of people either really like or really donât, primarily because it was originally such an erotic-laden AU, but I personally love working with all layers of worldbuilding alongside that sorta stuff :3c
Iâm really happy to do a giveaway, and Iâm hoping Iâll be able to do another in the future--maybe if we reach 2k followers!
Request (@simonisloved): Alpha Hank claiming his omega mate (reader) for the first time.
Hank needed it to be perfect. He had spent weeks planning the whole thing out, everything from double-checking the restaurant for dinner to using several days of vacation to make sure he wouldnât get some crazy house-call because someone was murdered with a goddamn fork (itâs happened before).
Claiming an omega was a big deal. Sure, nowadays it might not seem like it (it really was an old-fashioned point in a relationship between an omega and an alpha), but Hank was a bit of an old-fashioned sorta man. He wanted to treat you right after all--he was the one thrown for a loop that youâd have ever been interested in an old alpha like him to begin with, so he was more than ready to work his damn ass off to make sure you didnât regret loving him so much more than he deserved.
That said, claiming an omega was a bit old in terms of relationship shifts (something akin to courtship from a century or so back), but it...it was romantic. It was sweet. It was a promise from him to you that heâd take care of you, provide for you--that he was more than just a lazy old man, for gods sake.
So of course he went through all the trouble to make it good, make it memorable. The man even bought new clothes so it had to be serious (as Connor had cheekily pointed out). But it was all for you,
And you were more than worth it.
Thank god the date had gone well. Hank had been at his wits end every moment of dinner, just waiting, nervous that something was going to go wrong and prove the old fool that he was to your beautiful eyes.Â
But from whatever god lives in the heavens, the evening was practically spectacular. The food was lovely, the atmosphere sweet, and the sun was just setting as you and Hank walked together near the edge of the Detroit Riverwalk. It was stunning, really, and the two of you talked and laughed your way until the sun finally fell behind the horizon and he was driving the two of you home.
Hank was confident as he parked the car. He was confident as he stepped out and unlocked the front door, taking a moment to greet the big ball of fluff that was Sumo who greeted him. Hell, Hank was even confident when he took your hand in his and made the move to kiss your forehead in a moment of innocent affection.
He heard your soft gasp and suddenly, totally, Hank didnât feel all that confident anymore. Instead, he suddenly felt nervous; all that worry from before came washing back into his chest, leaving him standing and silent as your eyes slowly glanced up to meet his.
â....You alright?â You asked softly. The concern was plenty obvious on your face, and he was grateful for how you waited to let him answer.
âI uh,â Hank bumbled over his own words. âI just--want this to be good, you know?â He felt your hand reach up to cup his cheek and breathed in the soft, sweet smell of your scent--omega, his omega.Â
Not-quite-yet his omega.
Hank averted his eyes only for a few moments, cheeks feeling warm and even warmer with your hand touching him.
âStrange enough that you want an old alpha like me--not nearly as young and uh, as frisky as some others.â
You quirked the edge of your lips at the way the man tried to let the attention roll from his shoulders, genuinely unused to being a source of affection for someone (let alone an omega) for a long time.
âYouâre everything that I want,â your words whisper, softly, both hands on the otherâs face to make sure he looks at you. âThe fact that you cared so much to make a datenight of this proves how good of an alpha you are for me.â
If anything, Hank was a gentle man, a gentler alpha--he didnât quite have the same stuffed-up ego that some alphas had and, honestly, that was one of the things you loved most about him. A genuine man with genuine intentions.
Whether it was your words, your touch or even your sweet, comforting scent, it seemed to do enough to revive a bit of a fire in Hankâs eyes. His lips pulled into a half-grin and he, after a moment, leaned his face down to your cheek. He kissed your skin once, then let his lips drag sweetly to the lobe of your ear.
âMay I have you?â the manâs words tickled against the shell of your ear. âWill you be my omega?â
âYes,â You breathed, a sigh of satisfaction and sweet pleasure from the husky tone of your partnerâs voice. âAnd you will be my alpha, Hank.â
And then the two of you made a careful, kiss-laden retreat towards the bedroom.
Summary: You are an android who was originally designed to be a grief counselor, helping people through periods of pain and loss. After the events of the revolution, youâre left in a world where you have personal freedomâbut freedom at the cost of knowing your place in said world, a purpose for existing.
As you find yourself working at the Detroit Police Department as a interrogation assistant and criminal profiler, you learn to feel the same emotions that you had once worked to identify and help others withâall while trying to figure out why so many of those feelings seem to harbor on Gavin Reed, your work partner and yourâŠ.something.
Youâre still piecing that detail together.
The one-year anniversary since the Day of Deviancy was surprisingly less bountiful with celebration than you had thought thereâd be. It was announced by several news outlets, but there was little beyond minor activities and celebrations that permeated the idea that today was anything other than a normal day. Cloudy, the chance of rain a gentle reminder in the back of your head as you prepared yourself for work.
Remember an umbrella , your internal system reminded.
At least it was Friday, the day that youâd learned to enjoy most; it was the day that you and Gavin would go out together at one of the many local bars near the Detroit Police Precinct, where you both would sit and talk about anything that seemed to wander into the conversation. Friday. Just a few months ago the day would hold little importance to you; it would have been just another day that youâd be required to work.
It had never occured to you how much things could change in the span of one year.
You stepped down the front hall just in time for one of your livingmates to call out to you from the kitchen.
âDonât forget an umbrella, itâs supposed to rain today!â
The voice was familiar, it belonged to one of the androids you worked with, though she in a different section of the precinct. She was still just as android as you were, should have known that your internal system would have already flagged the weather, and yet she still said it, still did her best to catch you as you left for work.
A year had humanized so many of them. Helped them see the world outside what they were simply programmed to see and feel in miraculous ways.
And she wasnât the only one.
You reached for one of the umbrellas gently tucked near the front door of the apartment.
âThank you!â you called in return. âIâll be home late tonight, Iâm going out with Gavin!â
The response came only a moment later, a delighted tone that no-doubt came with a smile.
âBe safe!â
It was hard to describe your relationship with the man who had once been your begrudging coworker. There was a lot of learning involved to get to where you were with him, and most of it was a two-way street. A lot of broken assumptions, careful communication and a certain amount of confusion--as most relationships go, you felt very happy with having Gavin in your life as both a friend andâŠ.something.
Thatâs where the problem lay most, after all--what was Gavin Reed to you?
For someone expertly trained to be knowledgeable about emotions and social behaviors, the fact that you couldnât slot him into a box, however unorthodox, was as odd as it was exciting, in a way. He wasnât just a static fact, an unchanging number--he was human in the way that you were human now, somewhat, sorta--
Well, metaphorically speaking, at least. Human in the freedom of being, of existence and thought and emotions .
It didnât take very long for you to arrive to work and settle yourself in for the next eight hours--the pace of things had actually been fairly peaceful, with the crime rate down by a significant percent (the enacted laws aiding the homeless and creating jobs had worked better than what most had thought). Things were nice, the rain already coming down in a soft patter against the glass windows near your desk.
You felt genuinely happy. It was a warm sensation, familiar now in how it settled in your chest--one that you cherished among plenty others. Still, it didnât compare to the gentle flip of your metaphorical heart as when you caught a familiar form stepping towards your desk.
âHey,â a voice said, just before they moved to lean their hip against the edge of your work space. âGet to work alright with the rain?â
Of course, it was Gavin.
âIt didnât start up until I was already at work,â you say softly, gesturing towards the umbrella that leaned against the desk just beside the manâs legs. âBut I came prepared if it did--I think itâs supposed to keep raining past the end of the work day.â
Think. Perhaps. Maybe. The words were still so new to your lips, anything less than the definitives your internal systems supplied you with--of course you knew it was going to keep raining, but it felt much better so think instead. It feltâŠ.better, in some way.
Gavin hummed and shifted his weight; you could tell there was something he wanted to say, given his body language, and didnât hesitate to prod him to saying it.
âIs there something youâd like to ask me, Gavin?â
You almost delighted in the flush that blossomed over the manâs face--how he didnât accept you could read his feelings better than himself, youâd never honestly know.
âFuck, I keep forgetting âyer a mind reader,â he grumbles, but still situated himself against the desk.
âUnderstanding body language and social queues is far from telepathic powers,â You note quickly.
Gavin rolls his eyes, mildly amused, but the touch of pink doesnât fade away from his face as he bumbles over the words to the question heâd been holding.
âI was just wonderinâ,â he started, shoving his hands in his pockets (as heâd otherwise start wringing them together). âI mean--weâd been going out every Friday to the bar and whatnot and uh--I was perhaps uh, thinkingâŠ.â He took a breath, glancing over to meet your eyes, your gentle expression (you certainly werenât about to cut him off--it was cute to see him bumble a bit). âHow would youâŠ.like toâŠ.come by my place tonight instead?â
You blinked, then felt a soft flutter somewhere deep in your chest. There was data flying past your vision, your thoughts--and it was all information that you werenât wholly unfamiliar with. From the manâs body language, his question, his close physical proximity--
You couldnât deny what he was asking or, at the very least, what Gavin was implying .
You also couldnât bring yourself to reject the offer.
Friends donât just have sex . Or, well, they can certainly have sexual relationships, youâre more than knowledgeable to understand the separation between romantic and sexual relationships. But you and Gavin are friends, good friends, but you two were also going to have sex and--
âWhat are we?â
Your words spilled loosely from your lips the moment that Gavinâs hands pressed to your hips, his body against yours from the moment the front door closed. You canât deny the way your body responds to him--intricate nodes and sensors light up in a ferver at the mere look in his eyes as he glances you over. You want him. You want more of him.
But you want to know youâre not going crazy--your systems still functioned, you were reading the situation correctly. You wanted to hear the admission from the manâs lips.
You wanted--
You needed--
âI love you.â
Gavinâs voice is thick, dripping with layers of emotion that youâd be able to accurately detect if you werenât so preoccupied with a million other thoughts. You feel his lips to your throat for a moment, kissing over several sensitive nodes and his body pressing you back against the closed door.
But he doesnât stop with that simple, loaded admission.
âI fucking love you--all these months weâve been working together, getting to know eachother--â Gavinâs hands play with the edge of your clothes, but he doesnât yet dare to pass the unspoken line to start removing them--he merely toys his fingertips at the idea, the thought, which is enough for your thoughts to scramble. âI want to make you happy. I just--I want--â
And thatâs enough, thatâs absolutely enough for you to let the sweet feelings of joy flood your chest.
You cut the man off from speaking more with your lips to his--the kiss is sloppy, a bit inexperienced mixed with too much enthusiasm, but itâs honest and pure and it makes you feel so happy .
The feeling follows as you and Gavin move, broken only by kisses, to the bedroom. Itâs a bit of a blur as you find yourself pressed back to and falling into the bed, with Gavinâs body warm and heavy over you.
âIs this--â he starts, finally pulling back enough so that you can see his face, his unsure expression. âThis is okay, right? You--youâre alright with this?â
The gentle look of his eyes, the lack of sarcasm--the lack of any negative tone in his words, really. Gavin Reed is so honest, so careful--you canât help but smile gently and reach a hand up to cup his cheek.
âIâŠ.want this,â you say, slowly, as if trying to listen to how it sounds coming from your mouth. âI...really want this. IâŠ.love you too?â
You let the word of affection settle in the air for a moment, fearful that your thoughts would rubber-band back with a wave of rejection, if the feeling wasnât correct, if you werenât reading the observations of your own damn emotions correctly.
But no, youâre correct. You feel love like a fire in your chest, burning ever brighter with every breath you took, every beat of your thirium-pump, every glance at Gavinâs face.
âI love you,â You finally repeat, growing all the more confidence. âI love you! I love you!â The words become a soft chant, muffled only by the fact that Gavin leans down to start kissing over your throat.
âYouâre so fucking cute,â He growls into your skin. âJust--makinâ me so happy since I met you, yanno that?â Another kiss, another growl, his hands quick to strip the two of you down to little more than your underwear.
But Gavin stops. Heâs in his boxers, and moves so that heâs kneeling above you, glancing between your bra and panties.
âYouâŠ.are youâŠ.â He stumbles for purchase on the question. âI uh--I know some androids areâŠ.equipped for fucking. I mean itâs totally okay if you arenât--â his expression starts to fall to worry (he hadnât thought it through to this point). âI mean, I want you to feel good too. You just uh--you gotta tell me what you want me to do.â
Though awkward, Gavinâs genuine care to ask instead of simply assuming is certainly a mark of growth since youâd first met him. Heâs still just as ignorant about a lot of android aspects, but heâs not ashamed to ask. Not ashamed to express that heâs ignorant anymore.
You take a certain delight in the way Gavinâs eyes widen as you remove your bra and then slide your underwear from your hips. Heâs certainly not a virgin by any stretch of the imagination (and it didnât take an emotional expert like you to figure that one out) but Gavin, if only for a moment, looked very pure and honest in his flushed shock.
âAnswers that question,â he whispered slowly, before striping himself down to nothing as well.
It took a few more moments of kissing and gentle, almost explorative touching before the two of you found yourself pressed to the bed again.
Soon, your legs were around his waist and Gavinâs lips, they were whispering sweet, little things beside your ear.
âIt feels good?â he asked, groaning as his length was slowly but fully sheathed within your heat. âI-I want you to feel this too, donât try tâact it out if it doesnât feel good.â
He hadnât even finished speaking before your head was nodding furiously, as far from a lie as it could be. You werenât designed for the purposes of sex, not primarily, but by god were you still able to feel just how perfect Gavinâs cock was as it opened you up. You could enjoy the carnal pleasure of his thickness, his hands on your hips, his breathing against your skin--the lust that filled you was a simulated response, but it was perfect.
Perfect, perfect.
You werenât sure how long the entire thing last (a lie, just under half an hour) and youâre not sure how many times the two of you exchanged sweet, passionate âI love youâs (a doz.en, unless you count when Gavinâs words started to blur together from orgasm).
Nevertheless, it leaves the two of you on the bed together, bundled up in a blanket and tangled in eachotherâs limbs. It leaves you and Gavin smiling like idiots, with your face tucked beneath his chin and the faint glow of pleasure still smoldering in your belly--your system is not at all hurried to clean the extra bits of data from the coupling away.
âGavin?â
Your question mumbles against his throat. The man hums for a moment, arm gently tugging your body closer to his beneath the thick blanket.
âSomething wrong?â he asks gently.
âNo, no Iâm justâŠâ you pause for a moment, weighing the thoughts in your head, the multitude of memories from the day you started working at the precinct to now, how far youâd come from the beginning in both a professional and personal sense. âIâmâŠ.Iâm really happy.â
Happy. It warms your heart, makes you realize how much more to life there is than simply existing.
You canât see his face, but youâre sure that Gavin is smiling that sweet, honest smile he gets when he thinks nobodyâs looking.

I went to go check out the masterlist and it brought me to a document titled âDiagnostic Essayâ and I was wondering if anyone had told you that??? If so, just making sure you knew about it.
Nobody had yet, but thank you for letting me know! I honestly donât know what had happened to the file; when I checked the sharing and edit settings, nobody but myself and the original creator should have been able to mess with it--and yet when we checked the version history, there was an anonymous user who had come in, deleted everything, then wrote that essay of sorts
For those of you who missed it, it looked like this:
It wasnât just a misplaced file or link to the wrong document; the masterlistâs change log specifically reads that an anonymous user went in, deleted everything on the document, then put this???
Not only should that have been impossible, the essay looks....genuine? If this is supposed to be some sort of reference to something, I honestly donât get it.
Long story short, we were able to restore the masterlist as it was before those crazy changes, so no harm was done, it just left me and @bellabelcr really, really confused.
maybe they asked for the tag so its easier to find / block your content? not all navigation happens on ur blog
Could be! If itâs the former, then my specific tagging (and explanation) should help them find it--if itâs the latter then well, I suppose it would be the same to help them hide it.
Either way, my tagging style is specific enough to almost be part of my branding, so while Iâm not inclined to change it Iâm always more than happy to explain what it all means c:
ardunkothe replied to your post âcould you tag x reader 'reader insert' or 'character name x reader'...â
why is anon asking a blog that predominantly writes x reader to tag x reader fics.....
There could be a number of reasons! If you arenât familiar with my tagging or if you try to search âreader insertâ on my blog, you wonât actually find anything (tag wise) so I assumed they could have just been a new reader to the blog! c:
Itâs actually pretty common for other readerinsert blogs to use âcharacter x readerâ as a tag, so you could almost call me an outlier--no surprise they might not have known!
could you tag x reader 'reader insert' or 'character name x reader' please? thanks <3
Thank you for asking kindly! While I highly respect that, I wonât be using your suggested tags--simply because I already have a specific set of tags that I already use that mean the same thing!
I often forget few people know thereâs a very specific method to the madnessâI use the same set of tags for the other dozen writing blogs I have largely to keep me from going insane.
I can write up a tag index if anyone wants, but below is a quick rundown of the tags I use for practically all the writing blogs I run:
Quick Tag Explanation
headcanon / drabble / readershot // This is used primarily to denote the type of writing for a post, with the differentiation between drabble and readershot are simply the wordcount (drabble is <1k words, a readershot is >1k words). Though the term readershot is simply a portmanteau of reader and oneshot, I use it across the board for any bit of prose thatâs not a headcanon or drabble, whether itâs part of a chaptered work or not. If youâre looking specifically for sfw or nsfw posts of a particular type, youâd just put sfw/nsfw in front of the tag.
[character] headcanon / [character] drabble / [character] readershot // This is used to denote what character a piece of writing is for. If you want headcanons that are specifically for, say, Ralph, then youâd find all of them via âralph headcanonâ. This will include sfw and nsfw posts.
writing / notwriting // These tags simply are for if a post is relevant in content to the blogâif someoneâs on this blog purely for the writing stuff and doesnât wanna see any of my rambles or asks, youâd just search the âwritingâ tag c:
(Thirsty 4 Ralph anon again lol) how do you think Ralph would react to his partner being on their period? Like he's a gardening android, would he even know that we do that? Humans are weird and complex
The first time that Ralph would learn about menstruation, itâs completely by accident--it wasnât the intention for you to sit down and teach him that no, youâre not bleeding out, youâre not hiding a wound and youâre definitely not dying (though sometimes it certainly feels like it).Â
He might have seen a blood stain in your underwear, or maybe your first day caught you by surprise and you bled through your pants or something--either way his reaction is most certainly strong, but all it takes is a short lesson in human anatomy and sexual health for him to stop worrying about your slow and painful death by blood loss.Â
From there, Ralphâs is still worried about you, though his concern lies more in the pain that youâre going through than anything else. It takes some research, some questions and a healthy level of curiosity, but Ralph cares more about your pain and discomfort than youâd ever expect, especially from an android (a male-identifying android at that) who has never himself felt the pain of menstruating. He wants to do all he can to help you through it, always open to learning what makes you the most comfortable.
Beyond his concern for your comfort, Ralph finds human periods to be really....weird. heâs used to plant reproduction, after all, and plants arenât nearly as bloody in spreading their seeds as humans are for having babies--he likes it a lot better that way. For as weird as it is though, he finds himself wanting to learn quite a bit about it--it becomes a strange little hobby of his, honestly, if only so he can understand you more and how your body works (you certainly have more needs than he does, and theyâre a lot more complex than Ralph had assumed).
Because he wouldnât have nearly as much stigma or social influence against periods as a whole, Ralph is more than happy to talk openly about it with you. Do you need him to run to the store for pads, tampons? Do you need painkillers? Do you need him to get you a heating pad, rub your stomach? If it makes you happy, then Ralph is ready to help you (whether he understands it himself or not).
