Abandoned Quincy Mine at Hancock Shaft House, just outside Hancock, MI:1953 Quincy Mine was a set of copper mines that operated mainly between 1846-1945. It is a designated National Historic Landmark District and some parts can still be toured.

Out of Practice
Guess what? I forgot about this (again) and then couldn’t figure out the right email (it was an old school email that I no longer had access to), but I got there!
Anyways, after I got inside this blog, I rerealized I also have a Michigan based blog connected. I can’t even. While going through I reblogged some posts that I though were going to mittenhistory, but they were going detroitland.
So, we’ve got a few not strictly based Detroit photos, but they are from Michigan.
I hope to become more active, but everything is a faze. Fair warning: I’m a supporter of BLM, all for defunding the police, (area specific reference: time for Chief Craig to GO and Duggan too), and I have been to the Detroit protests and there has been ZERO rioting and looting despite what the media will have you believe.
