Apart of the largest Detroit Tailgate group in Eastern Market, the party started early each GameDay. I was the Chef feeding over 200 hungry fans 😋 each game. Had to give it up back in 2010 oh how I miss that fabulous feeling of camaraderie and the great Detroit Lion's games. Great meal 😋 on July 4th, our 2nd favorite Dearborn restaurant #1 be Sahara on Michigan Ave. Absolutely our favorite Iraqi restaurant for over a decade. Place extremely busy dining in and take out customers at dinner time. A very large interior and patio makes perfect for social distance order. Got our favorite the platter for 2 which fed us with leftovers mega deal. It starts with Lentils Soup n Fatoush Salad absolutely Wonderful. Then a mega platter of Meats be Iraqi Kebabs, Chicken Tikka, Iraqi Gus Beef, Chicken Shawarma, Chicken Tawook n Chicken Cream Chops. The very best deal of any Middle Eastern restaurant around metro Detroit. Also come with Platter of Rice, Bread, Iraqi Beans n Eggplant. So 35 bucks feeds a family of four Unique Meats, Great Service and flavorful Meats. Most likely you be only non Iraqi folks in the place, think place the real deal. Only private owned Chicken Shack we know of for decades. All corporate locations Suck badly. This place has a great owner and crew that care's about the customers. They even bring your meal to your table, how cool is that, Free water cup too unlike Riverview location. Spotless clean restrooms unlike Gibraltar location won't let you use them. Finally got to try the new Spicy Chicken Sandwich WOWED a real winner. Mega Fillet drenched in batter freshly deep fried, it hangs out both sides of the bun. Creamy Slaw n Pickles the lunch special outstanding deal until 4 pm everyday. For only 10 bucks n change you get the Sandwich, Shack Taters smothered with Butter, Coleslaw and a Fountain drink w free refill. Best deal around town by this local chain. She had the Chicken Breast Lunch special for a win. Absolutely blown away authentic Northern Indian Food. Location corner of King n Middlebelt two big signs take out only. So many great reviews around the web Google and Yelp got me to visit. First of many visits the owner had a place on Ford road with Buffet for a couple decades. Actually we visited that place a couple times always a full house at lunch time. Open going on 3 years has hundreds of regular customers since the food is marvelous and prices low. A mega deal Tandoori Chicken with Garlic Naan medium spicy only $12.50 had 7 big pcs Chicken Thighs n Leg's. All those places in Dearborn charge around 20 bucks for this dish. Wife had fantastic Butter Chicken with Rice $13 bucks another winner. See menu has all prices for Shrimp, Chicken, Lamb and Vegetarian dish's. Got a couple desserts all house made Yummy.
