The Mighty Nein + Onion Headlines
odin is like “when thor was born the sun shone bright upon his beautiful face. i found loki on the sidewalk outside a taco bell”
Oðinn spake:
Bright the sun shone | at the time of Þor’s birth, And bathed his count'nance fair. Loki, wolf-father, | the trickster, the liar, I found on the cold pavement While returning in glory | from a grand hunt For a 3 AM quesadilla.
@damn-fuck-i-burnt-myself-again
I need this framed on my wall it’s so beautiful.Â
@theshitpostcalligrapher
ay @systlin hmu
@systlin
My husband complained that this was more Shakespeare than Eddas, and I challenged him to do better.
Solen sken, skönt gyllene
Dagen Tor föddes
PĂĄ trottoaren, vid Taco Bell
Där låg Loke
—KJN
My translation:
The sun shone, sweet golden
The day of Tor’s birth
On the tarmac, by Taco Bell
There lay Loki
(For poetry reasons, Thor needs the Swedish spelling.)
@bold-sartorial-statement

SĂłlin skein, björt og gullin við fæðingu Þórs á stĂgnum við Taco Bell Ăžar lá Loki
The amount of quality going into these shitposts is amazing
So youre rlly into dnd and stuff, so im not sure if you know: are there any dnd podcasts out there that are more spooky/horror based? I cant play myself but im dying for something more on the creepy side
I dont know of any that I’ve listened to, but I googled it and here are a couple that came up that looked promising:
How We Roll (especially their Curse of Strahd campaign, which is here)
Demipia (their description/twitter says they’re a 5e horror podcast)
The Beholder’s Eye (this one started coming out this year, and their description says they’re a mix of regular 5e and eldritch horror)
Hope this helps!

A small mildly interesting dump
I’m honestly so excited that caduceus is a grave domian cleric especially with the fact that molly died and grave domain clerics are all about preventing death but also he can do this next lvl
I play one in my Wednesday game and that ability is … really really great. :D
It’s gonna frustrate Matt to no end, getting all geared up for a wild crit attack from an enemy and Taliesin saying calmly “… I’m gonna stop that.”
that was my first thought too!!! taliesin gonna annoy matt so much with this
Four times a day with that wisdom modifier. Good lord.Â
Oh yeah Matt you got the Snitch. But Tal can now counteract those crits.
CADUCEUS IS THE ANTI-SNITCH

Trump is lying. And this is the result of his lies and bigotry.
Donald Trump’s Republican party is the party of child abuse.

EXPOSE THEM
If you don’t have anywhere to wear a very specific piece you have in your wardrobe, grab a friend or three and host a “soirée.” Get some $5 sparkling wine or grape juice, some cheese or cocktail onions or grapes if you don’t eat cheese and make a Playlist and just walk around one of your homes being fancy together. It’s nice to go out but if you can’t, don’t let that stop you.
My friend and I would do this back in college! We were the only ones in our friend group that didn’t ski, so most winter Sunday afternoons we’d just get dressed to the absolute nines, make a cheese plate, play some jazz, and drink bottom shelf wine out of stolen glasses. Anyone on the dorm floor was invited so long as they were also A. dressed to at least the sevens and B. arrived with more wine. Still one of my favorite memories.
