On route to Stuttgart where Helen's wonderful Mummy has booked them a hostel! Mum's are great, thank you! Can't wait to recieve a text saying they are in bed for some sleep.. no idea how they are still going. INCREDIBLE.

After a pretty awful night of exploring a barron Strasbourg, the team are trying to get a hitch from Offenburg south east of the main city! Spirits are a bit low at the moment so any words of encouragment for the final push would be great! @deutschebahnter xx

E411 TOTAL SERVICE STATION

The team are currently situated on a very big road in a HUGE service station. Two options here: 1) Camp down and get some sleep. 2) Carry one trying for a hitch. Will let you know the update as soon as possible!

After a wonderful time with David they have been dropped at a service station that unfortunately closes in 15mins. Hoping for another hitch to a bigger one!! Small steps!

BEST NEWS EVER!

Just had a wonderful text from the team. THEY HAVE FINALLY FOUND A LIFT OVER THE CHANNEL AND THEN BRUSSELS! A wonderful man called David has kindly taken them aboard and finally we can say HELLO EUROPE! Massive well done for keeping at it for so long, that was pure determination in a soul destroying situation. You guys are heros.

Despite being in Dover still, and sleeping in a pretty chilly but safe room thanks to the Police's recommendation, Helen and Pete are still smiling. Keep your fingers crossed for a possible 12o'clock ferry crossing which could be on the card!!

Some great encouragement and humour from the Guild of Students Vice Pres of Activities and Development however! No twerking, just Disney tunes and prancing around apprently. KEEP GOING TEAMS <3
