✨ Tea Magic ✨
there are plenty of ways to work to work a little magic into your day without doing a full on ritual, and your daily (hourly?) tea is one of them! here’s just a couple of suggestions with fruit, flowers, herbs, and their correspondences.
most teas fall under a few categories: tea plant, floral, fruit and herbal. teas can be considered type of potion called an infusion. various types of teas have different steeping times and water temperatures, but you can always chill them and drink them cold too! most teas have some form of the tea plant in them mixed with other ingredients, but herbal teas do not.
teas like white, green, oolong, and black tea come from the same plant ”Camellia sinensis”, and the flavors/properties depend on how the leaves have aged/fermented. these are listed in the amount of least➡️ most fermentation.
white tea - air magic, purification, protection, clarity, realization, meditation, cleansing green tea - fire magic, healing, love, catalysts, mindfulness, passion, sexual health and new energies oolong tea - water magic, wisdom, reflection and deep concentration, beauty and emotional connections black tea - strength, stability, endings, finished business, and banishment, expelling negativity. (x)
fruit teas will correspond to the meanings of those fruits, strawberry for love, lemon for cleansing, etc. fruit teas often have the tea plant in them.
floral teas will correspond to the meanings of those fruits, rose for love, lavender for peace, etc. floral teas often have the tea plant in them.
herbal teas will correspond to the meanings of those herbs, mint for wealth, rosemary for protection, etc. herbal teas usually do not have any of the tea plant in them.

Empowerment Spell
This spell is rooted an indignant desire for self-empowerment. It is an assertive spell, not a soft one. Keep that in mind.
What you’ll need: - an ice cube - a black, white, or red candle (you may use one or all three, but not two without the third) - a dish to place the ice cube on Conditions that enhance the spell: - Noticeable wind outside - Cold weather - Done at either dusk or nighttime. - Being in an already meditative state Directions: 1. Go outside. Light the candle. Facing the north, put the ice cube in your mouth & suck on it. Think about the people you wish to empower yourself against, your reasons for doing this spell, and the kind of personal effect you want it to have. Set your intention. Keep the ice cube in your mouth until you feel your intention is properly set. 2. Take the ice cube out of your mouth and set it on your dish. Focusing on your intention, recite the following however many times feels right for you. Pay mind to the coldness of your breath:
northern air sharp’n my tongue words borne of ice within my lungs i, the blackest sheep my hearts desire to be respected lift me higher
3. Blow out the candle. To “seal” the spell (as if it’s a letter), pour the melted wax on to the ice cube & let it cool. Do with the ice/wax as you wish, but do not discard of it in the trash.
girls will say they "know a spot" then take you to the sacrificial altar

how to find your patron deity
patron deities are choice gods that a witch identifies with the most, and relies on for help. patron deities aren’t necessarily gods, but ideas so complex that the only way to describe them is as beings. anyways, here is my step by step
Step 1- familiarize yourself with your options. listen to mythology, read articles, and try and find a few ideas of who your patron deity might be, but don’t commit to any one deity. these deities can be from any mythology or religion, as they are purely symbolic figures.
Step 2- familiarize the deities with yourself. pray to all of the potential possibilities you set out for yourself. this will allow for the exchange to be natural. a deity can’t fully be chosen by the witch. it is something that has to happen on both sides. by drawing attention to yourself via prayer, you are allowing this process to happen.
Step 3- meditate. you need to find your core being, who you are as a person. you need to know who you are, and what your values are, in order to find a god whose principles you can live by.
Step 4- review. take a second look at your list, and now that you are in touch with yourself, narrow the list down further. meditate and repeat until you have found your patron deity.
Now that you have found your patron deity, you must live in their image. get a pendant with their symbol, drink teas of herbs that have similar qualities as your deity. but most importantly, you must adhere to the principles of a deity if you wish to keep them as your patron. for example, my patron deity is Seshat, the egyptian goddess of literature, curiosity, history, and knowledge, and i have to live by these rules. this is why it is so important to have the correct patron deity, because you will have to live by them. in return, these deities bless you within their jurisdiction, as well as charge your spells, as long as the spell aligns with their values.
*note- you can have your patron deity, and then have other deities that aren’t necessarily your patron, but still praised and lived by.

signs from your childhood that you have a tendency towards witchcraft:
collecting things (esp rocks, shells, leaves, and bottle caps)
playing in the mud, esp making mud pies
imaginary friends
playing w animals more than ppl
collecting bugs
putting dirt, mud, leaves, or etc on your body or in your hair
please feel free to add on! also, I'm aware these are normal kid things. all children are drawn to magic. ppl just lose the way.
• making wands from sticks
• mixing bath products into 'potions' at bath time
• whistling back to birds
• talking to the earth/universe through the wind
• getting stuck in brambles/thorn patches while exploring

lavender self love jar
simple self love jar ritual
ingredients 🔮large jar 🔮dried lavender 🔮rue 🔮white candle 🔮rose water
steps 🔮place a single white candle in the middle of your jar. your white candle represents the destruction of negativity. 🔮place your dried lavender and rue around the candle, for the lavender represents healing, and higher consciousness. your rue also represents healing and health. 🔮light your candle, and chant:
“my body is ethereal, too pure for this realm. i light this candle in recognition of myself, for i am one with the wind and sky, beautiful.”
🔮blow out your candle. feel the positive energy in the room. 🔮sprinkle rose water around your creation, to cleanse and protect your jar. 🔮seal your jar with a cork or wax, and follow the same steps when you need to feel a little more love for yourself.
