When Did We Forget Our Dreams? The Infinite Possibilities That Each Day Holds Should Stagger The Mind. The Sheer Number Of Experiences I Could Have Is Uncountable, Breathtaking, And I'm Sitting Here Refreshing My Inbox. We Live In Trapped Loops, Reliving A few Days Over and Over, And We Envision Only A Few Paths Laid Out Ahead Of Us. We See The Same Things Each Day, Respond The Same Way, We Think The Same Thoughts, Every Day A Slight Variation On The Last, Every Moment Smoothly Following The Gentle Curves Of Societal Norms. We Act Like As If We Just Get Through Today, Tomorrow Our Dreams Will Come Back To Us. And No, I Don't Have All The Answers. I Don't Know How To Jolt Myself Into Seeing What Each Moment Could Become. But I Do Know One Thing: The Solution Doesn't Involve Watering Down My Every Little Idea And Creative Impulse For The Sake Of Someday Easing My Fit Into A Mold. It Doesn't Involve Tampering My Life To Better Fit Someone's Expectations. It Doesn't Involve Constantly Holding Back For Fear Of Shaking Things Up. This Is Very Important, So I Want To Say It As Clearly As I Can: FUCK. THAT. SHIT.
Do you tell her that you love her?
Like you do me?
Do you make love to her,
The way you make love to me?
Well I keep myself alone in case you call tonight
It's pathetic how I lie around
And wait all the damn time
It’s a short hide and long low,
Every time you have to go
Cause I don’t want to give you back
I don’t want to give you back
You’re the best I’ll never have
So I don’t want to give you back
But you’re borrowed
Only borrowed...
LeAnn Rimes "Borrowed", I don't particularly like the song but these lyrics really make me think, I think it speaks volumes for many.
'Dead' man wakes up during own funeral: "I feel okay now"
A 'dead' man has been found alive during his own funeral.
Brighton Dama Zanthe from Zimbabwe had appeared to pass away after suffering from a long illness.
However, friends and family of the 34-year-old were shocked to notice movement in the coffin as they were paying their last respects during the service.
"I was the first to notice Mr Zanthe's moving legs as I was in the queue to view his body," his employer Lot Gaka told The Herald.
"At first I could not believe my eyes but later realised that there was indeed some movements on the body as other mourners retreated in disbelief."
After realising Zanthe was actually alive, relatives and family members quickly uncovered him and sent him to Gweru Provincial Hospital.
Zanthe was discharged two days later after being on life support machines.
Speaking in an interview yesterday, Zanthe explained: "This issue can be best told by people who came to my house to attend my funeral.
"I don't know what happened and I only remember being on a life support system in hospital. Everything is history to me.
"What I can only confirm is that people gathered at my house to mourn but I was given another chance and I am alive. I feel okay now."
Just learned that Kirsten Vangsness is as "queer as a purple unicorn singing Madonna" and plans to marry Melanie Goldstein in 2013. YOU GO GIRLS! #proud
