Dragons Have No Teamwork {Closed}
Why this amusement park had a dragon in the hotel was beyond Kirigiri. It defied all variations of basic logic, and it wasn’t just the hotel. This entire amusement park was ridiculous, beyond the laws of the earth. As someone whose entire profession was based around logic, this was a new experience for her.
"How the hell am I supposed to get through this?" she mumbled to herself. The class she had been given upon entering the floor was a gunner, probably because of her weaponry abilities as a detective. A gun was usually on her at all times, but she had lost it upon entering the amusement park, the only time she had access to one being when she was on the third floor of the hotel, apparently.
She heard footsteps behind her and saw another woman in similar clothes to herself, probably another person living on this floor. The name above her head read ‘rise.kamishiro’, meaning this was her roommate. Oh, right. She had a roommate. That would just be great, wouldn’t it? With her profession and the way she conducted herself, most people tended to be intimidated by her, so hopefully this person wouldn’t be the same.
"I’m Kirigiri Kyouko, your roommate. It looks like we have to fight this dragon." From her tone one would be able to see she was not looking forward to it. Just because she had used a gun once or twice didn’t mean she could defeat a dragon with one.
Though this place offered no shortness of peculiarities (not the least of which being that she was very suddenly of sound mind and body), Rize had been perhaps a little naive to think that her living arrangements might offer some momentary respite.
But, of course, as steeped as the amusement park was in reality-defying attractions and acts, the hotel had proved just as inconceivable - a fact which had become apparent not seconds after she had set foot upon her assigned floor.
The words 'BERSERKER' appeared above her head with a soft chime, and her hand grew heavy with a sudden and quite implausibly solid weight. She nearly dropped the sword, as long in height as she was tall and impossibly heavy (a weight she certainly could not have stood to bear were she an ordinary human), in a fit of surprise. Rize considered leaving it anyway - surely a sword would be of little use to her when her Rinkaku were only a thought away - but curiosity lead her to drag it along as she headed deeper into the hall.
The dragon was enough to give her pause, and were it not for the scent of her blood Rize might have jumped in surprise at the girl's words. Her lips curled into a smile, a defense as automatic as the way she hefted her sword, and Rize's entire demeanor shifted in the blink of an eye - suddenly affecting the guise of someone helpless. "I - I'm not sure I know how." She confessed in a low tone, colored with embarrassment and a hint of fear.
The dragon turned towards them, curious and impossibly large, and Rize shrank behind her (poor, unfortunate) roommate with a shrill noise of surprise - smothered just as quick behind her hand. "Please, do something." She begged.
