So here's a little WIP I have going. It's currently paused (due to my craft room being completely dismantled) BUT it's still in progress.
Here's the beginnings of my Critical Role C3 Fearne Cosplay 💚
My progress on this cosplay has been a bit chaotic because I was trying to stream the process on Twitch at the time. I felt like I had to be working on a different piece of it every week, so I ended up starting more parts of it than I could keep up with.
But so far I have the fabric and other materials (which I bought during the first Exandria Unlimited), I am about 50% done with the worbla horns which I made with a wire and tinfoil base, I started mocking up a double circle skirt (I want FLOOF), and a full circle cape, and I patterned and started sewing the arm bands and waist cincher. I'm using hand embroidered flowers, and the leaf decorative stitch on the arm bands and plan to do something similar with the waist cinch!
Hopefully my craft room redesign will help me stay better organized so I can keep working on Fearne 💚 (and other projects of course 👀)
Oh don't mind me. I'm just sitting here making my own fabric (weaving is so cool!)
It will be about 100in x 19ish in.
What should I make with it?

I absolutely love this photo! It's one of my favorite cosplay photos.
It's not cosplay but I still made it!
I burned out hard on crochet a few years ago and could not stand to look at a crochet hook! But I've been buying so much pretty yarn, and I have an intense desire to make wearable things for myself and my partner, that crochet hooked me again.
So here's my first project made using 100% wool apparently from the Peruvian Andes Mountains (according to the paper it came with). I found the wool at a local 2nd hand craft store I absolutely love!
Pattern found here: https://www.anniedesigncrochet.com/one-skein-crochet-shawl-free-pattern/
I then finally made a scarf I had been promising Z I would make for about 9 years... I purchased the yarn for it about 7 years ago... ANYWAY it's done now.
I used a waffle stitch for the entire thing aaaaand it's a little short for a scarf. But a little long for a cowl. So we're calling it a scowl 😂 at least it's warm!
They were fun projects and have me excited to make even more wearable things this winter! I have some beautiful yarn that a friend gifted me 8 years ago that I'm finally letting myself use. Stay tuned I guess?
The Character vs. The Cosplay Ghost Pokemon Edition!
Final ghost Pokémon! Honestly it's my favorite one, too. Alolan Marowak!
I absolutely love all the sparkle and the body chains, the resin beads, etc. This is a very comfortable cosplay to wear, and I just feel so dang good in it!
The beads and pleather and the top are all second hand. The headband and belt are repurposed from my first bellydance costume!
I performed a choreography to a beautiful remix of the lavender town music in this cosplay.

Have you ever wanted to turn yourself into a teapot? Because when I saw Polteageist I could think of nothing else until I became one.
Typically I use some up-cycled or recycled materials in all of my cosplays. I was unfortunately far too hyperfocused on becoming a tea pot to do anything like that here. But I did have a ridiculous amount of fun making and painting every single part of this cosplay!
I have yet to wear her to a convention... When I do, should I bring tea bags to hand out to people? 💜🧡

I made this cosplay almost completely out of recycled and scrap materials. A majority of this cosplay is made from old curtains I bought for the first house I ever rented. The black details were added using some black fabric paint I had laying around. The ears are made from some scrap craft foam to hold the shape, then stuffed with fluff from some old pillows, sewn onto the hood and the hood is attached to an old headband I had laying around.
Purchase pieces include the tutu, and whatever leggings/shirt combo I end up wearing underneath it 😂
I really need to make a tail prop for this. Because even though I continue to threaten it's retirement... It's so comfortable I just keep wearing it! And it's one of the few cosplays I have where I prefer it with a mask on.
