Referring to Christmas: "...the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to thank of people below them as if they really were fellow-travellers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys." -Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol

That Samsung Galaxy commercial where the mom and kids are seeing dad off in a taxi cab and she wirelessly sends him a video she warns he “probably shouldn’t watch on the plane” is like a Rorschach test; whatever you think is on that video is exactly what’s on it, and that is how filthy a person you are.
Interesting thought indeed...
Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that ‘my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’

You should reblog this video today to help promote something ORIGINAL and not culled together, copied and pasted, covered, repurposed, parodied, made ironic, specious or insincere. Great stuff needs to win the day sometimes.

How to scrobble Pandora.com from Chrome
So this afternoon I was listening to music and became sick of iTunes random selections from my iTunes library and decided to listen to Pandora but remembered I couldn't scrobble to Last.fm, so I began my search for a way to scrobble from chrome and finally found a solution.
Like.fm - https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/mbnhjlkenpmankjjbbolibfcghileiae which is essentially a last.fm ripoff, actually made an extension that works with chrome and many online radio sites. You can sign in with your Facebook account, or create a new account. Under settings you can tell the like.fm to connect with your last.fm account and after you give your credentials to last.fm and allow like.fm to scrobble to last.fm you're good to go! Just navigate to Pandora or any other of your favorite online radio stations and scrobble away!
I'm listening to "Music of the 90's" this afternoon, very nostalgic. If you aren't a last.fm user, I suggest it! If you are a last.fm user, be my friend www.last.fm/dexterhoban
"I like what, uh, a father said to son when he give him a watch that had been handed down through generations. He said "I give you the mausoleum of all hope and desire, which will fit your individual needs no better than it did mine or my father's before me, I give it to you not that you may remember time, but that you may forget it for a moment now and then and not spend all of your breath trying to conquer it."

My first contribution to the portal we host at work. They are used in a switchview project that gets snmp info from our switches that notifies us if the ports are up/down or unused. Feel free to use the icons however you want. This was just me having some fun with paint.NET
What I've been working on...
Myself and @schnelly82 have done some web development work on jtd-enterprises.com for my dad's business. Also some coworker's and I plan on taking the Network+ exam in the coming months and have purchased some new reading material to help us out >
"Space," it says, "is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mindbogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space, listen..."

#KanyeVsCudi
Yesterday I had a pretty heated discussion with @vogelb83 comparing Kanye West's new "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" and Kid Cudi's "Man on the Moon II: Legend of Mr. Rager" The battle went back and forth, me being more of a Cudi fan argued about Man on the Moon II being better....
In the end we agreed to disagree and decided that the artists two new albums were just too different to debate...Cudi's feels more raw whereas Kanye is a phenomenal producer and the albums have two totally different vibes....
I also have some new music for y'all to listen to:
Gotta thank my coworker Joe for this first one: Girl Talk
- Great mixes of great music from 80's rock to brand new music with a sprinkle of Indie music...
- He just released a new album free to download: http://www.illegal-art.net/allday/
Next up is Rev Run's second son: Diggy Simmons
- He has a couple good covers and has signed with Atlantic Records and is young but has some decent tracks thus far...
- Cover of Drake's "Over": http://theurbandaily.com/music/billjohnson/diggy-simmons-jacks-drake-for-over-beat/
- Here's his tumbler: http://philthegod.tumblr.com/post/1612071930/shook-ones-diggy-simmons
