A darker lighter and a lighter lighter as previews of the Lighter vector I'm working on right now.

As with Yuzuha's colors on the Furina vector, lighter presented a new challenge in the form of a material I had never vectored before: metallic surfaces. The amount of lights and shadows that are needed to make it look correct is deceiving and although I simplified to two shades of dark and one shade of light, it taught me a lot on how to deal with this material in actual drawing.

Some more Furina Colorswaps, selected at random, mostly from ZZZ.

Yuzuha - one of the hardest to get to work in my entire 15ish years making colorswaps; Yuzuha has an outfit with a material texture that doesn't match most other materials in anime, so the colors really only work with those. Honestly gives me the idea of eventually evolving my vector skills into also changing clothes, materials, and maybe even try more creative things than just tracing.

Grace - a character who I never cared much for in ZZZ but eventually grew on me after I got her in a 50/50 and I built her around Anby. I think her design is one of the most understated in any HYV games, but her colors have so much potential. Furina looks beautiful with them.

Aether - similarly to Grace, Aether is not a character I particularly cared for. Lumine is my character in my main file and she's always seemed more expressive to me. Also like Grace, his colors are understated, but with excessive potential. Another incredible colorswap.

Billy Kid - Very different from the rest, one character I always loved since the start, and I tried building so hard it burned me out of the game. Bully's design, personality, kit and gameplay are all incredible. Unfortunately for this case, his colors are... kind of boring, and not exactly pop off on Furina's eccentric design. Still, I tried something different giving her eyes like his while retaining the different color detail on the left eye pupil and outline, which I liked the result of.
