I think that it is very interesting that people believe that the Sakamaki mansion exists. There are a few thoughts I genuinely have. I don’t think immortal vampires exist like the ones in DL, however, I do believe that human experimentation, sex slavery and sadism can exist in the world, and there is evidence of it, and I believe that it can be centered in one place.

Now, there is 0 evidence if those 3 things are present in the “real life” Sakamaki mansion. We don’t even know who inhabits the mansion. For all we know it could have been vacated for decades. However, usually, vacated places like that can be used for human trafficking and drug deals. Dark places. Now, I could be wrong. The areal photo looked like it was in the middle of nowhere, which is the same as the Sakamaki mansion, but also seems far away from any civilization, so would be perfect for any mal practices. I could be wrong. This is just a theory.

As for if I believe the actions of DL could exist in real life, I do, to some extent. Like I said, human experimentation EXISTS. It has existed for centuries. Usually this included torture, seeing how far the human body and mind can go before breaking- common occurance (Ruki, Carla, Reiji, I’m looking at you bro). It even has gone as far as trying to make another race. Me, myself, has fantasized and wondered about genetic engineering and if we could make a “superior” version of the human race- another species perhaps. I believe it is possible. Remind you of anybody? Karl Heinz? There are scientists in REAL LIFE who believe this to and ACT ON IT. They may not do human experiments, but they experiment all right.

As for sex abuse and trafficking, yep. Do I even need to elaborate? Have you ever been to your local Walmart and seen the sad wall of missing posters? They’re all children under the age of 21. This is a real thing and it could happen to me or you right now. It’s happening right now perhaps within 3 miles of you. More kids go missing in a year than people can breast cancer- by over 2x. Kidnapping, trafficking and sex abuse is real. Also, stats say around 1 out of EVERY 6 people are sexually abused each year. That’s 16%. Including adults. What the fuck man. The sex/rape part of DL is DEFINITELY realistic. Minus the sexy men. We would all be crying, begging for some kind of death. I’d rather be shot between the eyes than be raped. But Carla? Fuck me daddy. Something is wrong with me. It’s anime bro. Just a game.

I know for a fact some of you guys are sadists, and a lot of you are masochists. If you weren’t, why would you like this game? The fuck? BDSM is a thing. This one is obvious. But sadism is the reason that the previous two points exist. Sociopathic people like to see others in pain: sadism. This is like the most prominent theme in Diabolik lovers, the underlying issue. It’s what makes the plot go round.

SO, do I believe this could happen in real life? Yeah. Somebody could be kidnapped, used in an attempt to create a new race but forced to be a sex slave and simultaneously be tortured. Since said person is under another’s control, they will most likely develop Stockholm syndrome. Most of the boys develop Lima syndrome- when the captor cares for the well-being of the victim. Opposite of Stockholm. This is an incredibly rare occurrence, but a believable one.

Now for the things I absolutely do not thing could happen. There are no immortal beasts with unknown riches. There isn’t a war going on. “Vampires” in the sense that DL has taught us don’t exist, sorry. They won’t be sexy. They’re most likely will be a team working together instead of fighting. Crossing between the human world and the demon world? Maybe not. If they are cracked in the head enough they may believe there is a separate world or perhaps try to find a way to the afterlife, but to not avail.

Overall, I genuinely believe DL was inspired by real life issues. And if this was real life I would be absolutely terrified. I have this weird phobia and distrust of men. I literally get afraid of men at the sight. I’ve been sexually harassed before. I wasn’t even touched. But it fucked me up. Certain men I trust but most, nope. Just being in the vicinity of a rapist who wants to violate me would have me pulling the trigger or tying the noose. If DL was real life, I feel like the FBI/CIA would be all over that, trying to eradicate vampires and any other demons that may be lurking about. Remember Salem? It would be like that, but for vampires. But it would be hidden from the public as to not cause panic. Since they wouldn’t be able to prove if you’re a vampire or not they’d just kill you.

Also, if DL was real, I genuinely feel like the amount of women going missing would increase exponentially. We already have to worry about human men, but now we have to worry about entire inhuman species? Men of demon races probably don’t want male blood. Women, maybe not. Girls are pretty hot let’s be honest. And blood changes dep wing on the person, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it changes per gender, so there is a change female blood tastes better than male blood. So yeah, women would be in more danger. Genuinely I do think the amount of women in the world would decrease by at least 1%. That’s huge- since women are necessary for the population.

I hope that was the answer you were looking for! It’s a very heated topic and there is so much to discuss. I haven’t played the games and haven’t read/watched all of the translations yet so I’m just going off of what I have watched. (Dark, Maniac, Eden, that shit, of Subaru, Shu, some Vandead Carnival of the bros, some other shit I can’t remember, some more shit I can’t remember, CARLA MY BOI). Carla Tsukinami x fem!reader

(YN) is a servant (slave) at the founder's castle. Her main duty is to tend to Lady Krone. Under the rule of Giesbach, abuse is commonplace. (YN)'s parents were also servants- but were killed by the ruthless king.

TW: Abuse

A shockwave of sound ran through the corridors as the bell tower sang her song. It's 12 O'Clock. (YN) looked to her left and saw Lady Krone staring into space, but she awoke from her trance with the sounding of the bells.

"My lady?" (YN) asked. "Are you alright?"

Her Lady looked at her with a weak smile. "I am just fine. Tired, is all."

Lady Krone's illness had been getting worse, not to mention the King's fits of rage which he takes out on her must be driving her mad. The king will beat whoever is in sight. Lady Krone sacrifices herself for the sake of the servants- from the wrath of the King.

"Should I make you a bath?"

"No," replied Krone, "I should check to see what my husband is up to. My son, as well."

(YN)'s eyes widened. "My lady, don't go. You know what happens when he gets upset. It is best to avoid him," she tried her best to convince the queen to stay away from her husband.

"Even so," answered Krone, "it is not right for him to take out his wrath on the innocent. I must go. Come," she got up from her cushioned chair and beckoned for (YN) to follow her.

At the end of a long corridor sits a grand door made of emerald and gold. Behind that door is the throne room; the giant room in which Giesbach spends much of his time. Yelling could be heard from the other side accompanied by a calmer, colder voice.

Krone seemed bothered by the noises. "What could they possibly be doing this time?" she said, rushing into the room. (YN) swiftly followed after her. "Carla-" she called out, but she came too late. A swift hand had been swiped across his face as she entered the room.

"... you boy need to know your place..!" shouted the king, taking a step back from his bruised-cheeked son.

"How dare you lay your hand upon my son like such a heathen!" Krone stormed towards Giesbach, full of rage and eager to defend her son.

"Down woman!" yelled Giesbach, as he gave her the same treatment he did his own son, striking her across the face. "You will know you're place."

(YN) could not stand to watch the abuse continue for much longer. Every day it was the same routine, the same words, the same pain and never a different ending. A mix of emotions boiled in (YN)'s chest watching her Lady be abused like so.

"You... disgrace of a man," she whispered just loud enough to get the king's attention. "You're despicable!"

"Excuse me? Did I hear your correctly?" he let his wife go and took large steps towards (YN). "What as it you said?"

"You're a disgrace of a man," she clenched her fists. She glanced over at Krone, who looked horrified. "That is your wife. She bore your children and you treat her with such disrespect? A true man would never raise a hand to a woman," (YN) scowled. "You're only half the man required to be a king."

Carla was helping his mother off of the floor. (YN) took a step back from Giesback, who was moving forward. His face was red with wrath.

"Father," spoke Carla in a stone-cold tone. He was holding his mother in his arms. "Have mercy on the girl. She knows not of what she speaks."

"..." Giesbach stood for a moment. That preciously silent moment ended once he called upon guards and familiars. "Take her to the dungeons."

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I hope you enjoyed chapter 1. I decided to make Krone this selfless person who takes the pain for others. She knows suffering, and she knows love. I decided to write her as that. We have not seen her at all yet so this is just my rendition of her. What we have seen of Giesbach has been very abusive and toxic, so that is where the TW comes in.

Tips That Can Save Your Kid’s Life.

When I was a child, from the time I was about four and could understand things, my mom told me and my brother that we should have a secret word. That way, if we were ever in trouble or felt unsafe and we didn’t want the people around us to know we needed her to come get us, we could let her know. So she let us pick the word and my brother and I chose the phrase “peanut butter cups.” (I’m happy to share the phrase now since both my brother and I are adults now). 

I used the phrase twice in my life. Once, I was at a friends house when I eight years old. Her dad got really drunk and was throwing things against the wall. I was really scared and I didn’t want to draw attention to myself on the phone when I called my mom to come get me because I didn’t know if he would get more violent if I asked her to come get me. So I called her and was calm and after a couple minutes I asked “Hey mommy, did you get me those peanut butter cups from the store?” And she said “I’ll be right there.” And she came and got me within minutes. 

Second, I was a teenager spending the night at a friends house. Her brother and dad were drinking and they started talking about things that made me uncomfortable - ie: what they liked to do to women. My friend didn’t seem perturbed and said that was normal for them and that I shouldn’t worry. But I was worried because they were really drunk and I was 15 and the only ‘woman’ around that wasn’t related to them. I went in my friends room, told her I needed to call my mom and say goodnight. Before I hung up with her I asked “Next time we go to the store, can we get some peanut butters cups? I’ve been craving them.” And she came and got me, just like that. 

Two incidents, one as a young child, one years later as a teen. Don’t discredit this stuff, it fucking works. My brother used it a few times too. Let your child pick the word and no never, ever, ever, ever get mad at them for using it no matter what it is.

I feel like this should be said too if you see a child yelling things like “this isn’t my mum, or I don’t know you” or something don’t ignore them! This system relies on people actually helping the child! It dosent matter how rude you’ll seem or how anxious you are you could be saving a child’s life!

Even if you just ask the child “Do you know this person” if the adult butt’s in make sure to ASK THE CHILD! Even a shy kid will tell you they don’t know this person or just met them or something!

Hi, just something I wanted to address because of all the anon hate that has been going on in the fandom for the past couple of weeks.

I'm just going to put a Trigger Warning for suicide here, but this is important so please read it.

Recently Sherbetcoloured deactivated her account possibly due to the very excessive amount of anonymous hate she received from people for no apparent reason.

It probably seems that I'm pretending to care and all that but she was someone I greatly admired and appreciated in this fandom because she was funny, entertaining and just generally quite nice.

Anon hate is a serious issue that can damage one's self esteem and mental health, frankly I wish that Tumblr would do more about this issue because it seems very excessive and filled with this repulsive creatures that make me feel sick as doing as much as describing them as human. I personally believe that it stems from envy and merely because you dislike an individual, if you dislike someone you're not going to go like "Kill yourself" straight up, but with the anonymous option, they're able to say those things without being found out.

Cyber Bullying is a form of harassment and if shown to the proper authorities, it may result in legal consequences. If a person commits suicide due to an individual, that individual is responsible for their death and thus making them a murderer. But some of those are so in denial, so narcissistic, so insecure, so blatantly seeking attention that they're willing to risk a person's life. Those things basically kill someone indirectly.

It's weird how people get so attached to people that aren't real, to the point where they show possessiveness over a certain individual. I hate stans, I'm just going to put it out there, because they're so toxic, so disgusting and so obsessive over a fictional character or a real person. There's no need to get so defensive over a fictional character who isn't a real person. They are fiction, there's not much to defend and there's no need to have such a blatant obsession.

Bare in mind that I don't condemn or dislike you for liking a certain character, it depends on how willing you are to practically brainwash someone just so they are just as obsessive and possessive as the offender is.

If any of you here have ever sent any hate to anyone, tried to cancel someone or doxx someone, please block me, unfollow me, and just never think about my blog again. You're disgusting, and frankly you belong in a sewer to rot like the pitiful scumbag and degenerate you are and I refuse to speak highly of or to even consider being nice to someone as vile as you.
