“Don’t I feel flattered~.”
“Finally.. Jirachi is mine! Once it wakes up, this world is going to change..” Aima looked down at the crystal cocoon before him, the very ‘home’ where the legendary pokemon rested. There was an eyepatch over his right eye, the one that Devon put out of commission for the time being. Though with wishes at his disposal, that could easily be fixed. The man pulled out the old book he found that told the tale of the Wish Maker. As Aima read the text again, he realized he made a mistake. While the Jirachi was in hand now, he had forgotten the flute! How was he supposed to awaken it now!?
“Damned flute! Where in the world is it!? Back on the island?” Aima slammed his fist onto the table, angered at the fact there was an unexpected snag in his plans.. But wait. If the flute was on the island, no doubt Devon must’ve found it after he left. The pink idiot always was getting in his way and that sounded like something he would do. “Well then.. I’ll just have to make it where the brat has no choice but to hand it over. If he actually has it that is.” The brunette picked up his phone and began to make a few calls. Revenge would be his!

The knee to the stomach did hurt Aima a fair amount, successfully knocking the wind out of him. He wouldn’t be able to breathe fire out at Devon while he was in close range but there were other methods of fighting back. The man reeled a arm back before slamming his fist into Devon’s face, following up with a hard kick to put some distance between them. It gave him the opportunity to catch his breath, coughing a little more as he straightened up again. Feeling the heat of the flames around him, hearing the chorus of crackling trees as they burned in the distance, this was how things should be; an inferno of chaos. He was so very close to the goal he had in mind, all he had to do was get Devon out of his way and get away with the resting Jirachi. Then this step would be complete..
“You are more like me than you think, Devon..” Aima was well aware this would most likely make Devon more enraged or more willing to beat his face in.. but the goal was to make him more liable to make mistakes in this battle they were embroiled in. “Fighting against any Legendary you come across, going against the norm of society.. You like the feeling of battling them don’t you? The rush it gives you. We have that in common, hell I bet you even like the setting of our little battle right now too.” A twisted smirk curled his lips as he stood there, taking a step back towards where Jirachi rested. Would he halt the fight to stop the fire or would he try to end this as fast as he could? Aima was curious to see which path he would take. “If you don’t you are running out of time in stopping the flames. There will be nothing left of this resting place if you don’t act fast.”
“AHHHH!!! GO TO HELL!! I am nothing like you! You killed innocent pokemon for no reason, and you even destroy the things around you for no reason either! You want me to stop this fire?! I can’t, but he can! Devon rainer does not pick! He does both ways to victory!” He said, looking to his charizard, as the other nodded, quickly using his wings to fly upwards into the sky before he began to roar loudly into the skies themselves. A distress call? It seemed to be working as from the clouds, several pelippers were coming down with a pair of swanna’s, each using rain dance towards the island below. While that occurred, devon went on the offensive. He was bolting right upwards towards aima, and with his right fist currently clenched and ready to go, he wanted to do his own special new attack.
He got up right next to aima’s left, but then…vanished.
He got out of sight completely.
It would not be until his fist was coming right for the bastard’s right eye did aima see devon appear before reality itself and slam right into the eye he had damaged the first time they had met! However, this….this punch was something else! Something entirely stronger then before! If it landed,….his vision! Aima would realize he would have been hit so hard, his eye had been neurally damaged from within! Devon was no killer, never would he try to…but he was going to scar aima! He was going to make him regret what he did, by using the old phrase…”A eye for a eye”.
Now this was a disappointment indeed. The fire Aima spread slowly began to vanish as the rain came pouring down upon the island. This ruined the entire setting and thrill of his fight! Part of him wanted to order his pokemon to unleash enough electricity to fire all those damned birds but it could’ve killed him too. Not worth the risk when he was so close to obtaining what he needed. He would let it slide this time, not that he had any time to attack them anyway..
Devon was enraged, just as he expected really. Aima saw him vanish and looked to the right as the fist came into view. This brought back the memory of when they first met, how the pink haired mongrel punched him there that time as well. Though this one had much more power behind it, enough that the sight in his right eye vanished instantly. Along with that came intense pain but the brunette did his best to ignore it as he saw a prime opportunity. The fool left his right arm extended out after striking him, the limb lingering for a moment too long. Like hell he was going to let this chance pass him by!
Aima took hold of Devon’s arm, using it to pull the other trainer hard enough to slam him onto the ground. The brunette was quick to follow up this attack, not giving his victim the chance to recover, and slammed his foot onto Devon’s forearm as hard as he could. The loud crack that sounded brought a twisted and satisfied grin to Aima’s face, knowing he had made him suffer like Devon just did to him. Plus this was the opening he needed to get what he needed and escape since this no doubt would keep Devon grounded for a moment.
“Let’s call this a draw, Devon Rainer.. I thank you for this exhilarating battle this evening but I have somewhere I need to be. Take this moment to.. rethink your position in terms of standing in my way.” Aima walked over to the resting Jirachi and picked it up after returning the Electivire to his sphere. This pokemon was replaced with his Aerodactyl, the one he typically depended on for escapes. And so the man got atop his pokemon and flew away from the island as fast as it could go.

Seeing the forest starting to catch on fire made Aima start laughing aloud. Seeing Devon’s reaction to what just happened was just the icing on the cake. The man took a step towards his foe, the annoyance that just wouldn’t leave him be. Though he was serving a good purpose this time, giving the man something exciting to do. The look upon Aima’s face displayed a twisted sense of joy and amusement from all this, clear as day. “I am no mutant freak.. I am an Affinite, a superior race of human being. I am able to use ‘moves’ and my type just so happened to be fire. I will burn you and this island into ash, Devon!”
Aima then rushed forward, flames covering his hands and forearms to display it wasn’t just breathing fire. Once close enough, he swung his right arm at Devon as the left moved to the side. Why? To launch the fire into the forest to increase the spreading blaze.
Okay, freaky mutant human with the power to control fire. Sheesh, and what kind of world or genetics let that happen?! If it was not happening right before him, he would not believe in it but he had to deal with it. Aima was bad enough without the fire power and just his pokemon, now devon had to figure out how to fight this guy while he was burning the place down! Quickly, he averted left to dodge the swing of the man before he rolled into his space and brought up his right leg to knee him right in the center of his stomach from him charging him. Devon was a specialist in countering.
Meanwhile, Igneel was fending off electivire as he was clashing dragon claws for thunder punches as the two were in a stalemate of power. Devon knew igneel could handle it, but right now he needed to stop Aima. The flames were growing worse as the surrounding of the two of them were linked over in flames now.
The knee to the stomach did hurt Aima a fair amount, successfully knocking the wind out of him. your muse is allowed to underestimate my muse
your muse is allowed to disrespect my muse
your muse is allowed to provoke my muse
your muse is allowed to be a little asshole to my muse
and more – !!
So long as you, the mun, understand the consequences of your muse ticking off my muse your muse is allowed to be not nice to mine. Confrontation can be interesting and fun to rp! I welcome it! While you, the mun, should know better than to provoke my muse your muse might not and that’s okay! Mun does not equal muse and vice versa. When your muse provokes mine, disrespects mine, underestimates mine, I am trusting that even if your muse doesn’t know the consequences that you, the other mun, understand there are repercussions for your muse being an asshole.
you want your muse to be an ass to mine? that’s fine – just don’t whine when your muse doesn’t come out of it unscathed.
“People are so fragile these days..”
“There’s no need to keep our friendship a secret, Devon~.”

“Am I nuts..?” Aima said nothing further as he slammed a fist into Grimsley’s stomach, not letting go of the scarf. He used it to tug at his victim, making him look up despite possibly being winded. The man had been called some things in the past but being called crazy or psychotic always seemed to rub him the wrong way. To call him crazy was to imply something was wrong with his head, that he has some sort of defect. Aima personally considered himself quite sane, he just had a much different view than others.
“I am perfectly sane.. Do try to remember that next time, Sugar Tits. This was fun but now I am growing bored. So I’ll just spare you of anymore pain. Aren’t I generous? Oh and.. if you do try to report this, keep in mind that I was the one who found you first.” With that said, Aima let Grimsley go and began to walk away.. It was nice to blow off some steam.

“There is no proof that I robbed the bank, not that I did it myself anyway.” Aima began, his smirk growing more twisted. That was a delightful reaction and wanted to push the man further with the truth. This little game sure was working out, perhaps he would do it more often. “Why did I give the money to you though? .. Because I was bored. I wanted to see the joy on your face as you gathered it like the money hungry creature you are. It only makes seeing the crushing realization on your face all the better to enjoy. Of course.. You always have the option of not believing me and taking your chances on spending it anyway. You are a gambling man aren’t you?”
[ | ♠ | ]
…..Do you get off to others’ despair? Is your dingaling hard right now as you explain to me your nefarious plan of robbing money and give to me as a reward?!
Even in the face of a possible danger he’s still a joker.
Aima didn’t say anything as he stepped closer to Grimsley, a dark look coming to his face. “It seems we have a vast misunderstanding here.. I gain no sexual pleasure from what I do. In fact, I fail to see the point in such carnal acts all together.” The man reached out and grasped the bright yellow scarf, giving it a pull. “You see, Sugar.. Causing chaos and despair brings life into this boring world. I’m doing you a favor right now. This world is far too stagnant in its dull happiness and peace.”

“Oh? And just where are you stashing the money I gave you hm? I’m very curious..”

Why, so you can take it back? I won that wager fair and square, sugar tits.
“Sugar tits?” Ah, such was the problem with not letting word of your actions spread about. Aima stepped closer to Grimsley, a small smirk coming to his lips. “You never stopped for a second to think of where that money came from did you? Sure I gave it to you as per the wager but.. where do you think I got it hm?” The man looked at the Elite, crossing his arm as the smirk didn’t leave his face. Oh this was going to be good.. “What if I were to inform you that the pile of cash you have hidden away.. was part of a robbery? That those bills can be tracked as soon as you use them?”
@evil-influence

Aima Potiri is 666% sin.
“Heh.. I can’t argue against that now can I?”

Normally one would be fearful of a pokemon like Charizard, the way it spews flames upon their foes like so. As Devon rushed for him and the fire breather made the first attack, Aima simply reached for a Pokeball. The man had just tossed it into the air when the flames washed over his body. An Electivire was released and rushed for the Charizard, throwing a Thunder Punch at the target..
From the flames came a cold laughter, a figure stepping out from the blaze, patting off the embers upon his clothing. Aima was barely unscathed from the attack and seemed amused. “Using a fire type against me..? A grave mistake.” The brunette took a deep breath and when he opened his mouth wide, flames came flooding forth as well. It had been ages since he last got to fully utilize his powers like this. It was hard to tell when the next chance would be so he was going full out in this fight. This island was going to be reduced to ash, one way or another..
Igneel was letting loose it’s flames, as the next contestant came into view before them in the form of a electivire! So we was using a electric pokemon to fight his flying and fire pokemon now huh? Fine, igneel could handle most opponents even with a disadvantage! What he had not expected though…was for aima to come out of those flames unscathed. That was impossible! igneel could burn rocks into lava, and he just walked out like it was a breeeze?!
“What the?! Flames out of your mouth!”
He was not sure what to do, as he just ducked down at last second and barely missed the jet flames coming at him from the mouth of his arch enemy. The flames streamed back and caught fire to the trees behind him, now looking back in shock as the forest was not starting to catch fire! No, this was jirachi’s resting place! He couldn’t let it be destroyed! “Hey, focus on me you jackass! And why in the hell can you breathe fire?! Are you some sort of mutant freak?!”

“Such a tragedy~. To lose a parent so suddenly. I wonder what happened.”

Aima watched as Devon landed before him, the look of anger already upon his face. He let out a small sigh as he returned his aerodactyl, knowing he wasn’t about to leave anytime soon. The trainer before him clearly remembered the threats he made during their last encounter and was ready to fight. Though the brunette rose a brow at his last statement, managing to hold back a chuckle. How such an imbecile caused him so much trouble, he’d never know.
“First of all.. There is no pavement here to taste, you idiot. We are in the middle of a forest. Second, I’m here for one simple thing and I am not leaving without it.” Aima didn’t go through all this trouble just to leave behind what he sought. The difference between this encounter and the previous one was the location. The city prevented them both from doing anything without outside interference. Here, with no other human beings beside themselves, there was no reason to hold back. They both had some experience and information on one another, the question was who would walk away more damaged? “Stop barking and attack already if that’s your plan.. I have business to attend to.”
No more running away or some sort of snarky back-play it seems? Igneel was already fired up to fight this guy, and so was his trainer. This guy…..he was already still mad at him from the first incident, and the last incident had sighed this man’s death wish. No more saves for this guy. “I have business to finish. SO LETS JUST SKIP TO THE FUN!!!!!” And with that all rationality was lost in the eyes of the pinkette brawler, who dashed wildly at aima with igneel shortly behind him next to his side as he approached the man.
He clenched his right fist, ready to go toe to toe with this murderous nutcase. Normally, devon usually goes for a fair one on one pokemon battle, but he could not chance that this guy would just get on one of his pokemon and flee from him again! Their last encounter he had barely got a good hit in on this guy’s eye, and he was not going to let him walk away unscathed again. Charizard roars, as a jet stream of orange and yellow flame goes flying forward towards the villain before them. The battle has begun.
