I like FROOT, but I relate more to the dissatisfaction and melancholy from Electra Heart. I’m glad Marina has moved on as both a person and an artist, but I just haven’t gotten there myself, so I probably don’t love FROOT as much as I should.
marina's label sucks and doesn’t appreciate her. but i'm afraid that if she ever leaves and goes to another label they will control her and not let her be herself like mainstream artists.
My teacher asked me who my favorite celebrity was and I said Marina and The Diamonds. When he asked me why, I started to explain how much she really helped me overcome a lot of my problems, and in that moment I felt this choking feeling in my throat and I was at the brink of crying because it really made me realize how important Marina has become in my life.
I know that’s not what it’s about, but I can’t help but re-imagine “Solitaire” as suicidal ideation during an ambulance ride.
I think I live a parallel life to Marina, emotionally. Or at least I like to think so. I can relate to so many of her songs!
The return!
Hello there! Diamond Confessions is getting a little bit of a makeover. I’ve got a somewhat new look for confessions, and I’m going to be implementing some new rules and adding new questions to the FAQ very soon. I’m queuing up some confessions now even though they’re super old, just to keep things going and give you all a new example of what confessions are going to look like now. The submit box is off and will probably be for at least a few days. Glad to be back, though!
Edit: Btw, the new confessions are 540px, since I’m assuming most people see posts that way now. If viewed at a smaller size, it’s not going to look as good. I will probably get a new theme that will be able to reflect the new size of the posts. Thanks for your patience!

Never said she was, although I think some people who haven’t read her interviews might think she is after listening to “Can’t Pin Me Down”.
