I am so proud of these talented students of ours! Natalie and Lee had their first experience ever receiving number grades when we moved into GISD. The first nine weeks after the move were definitely a success for them, but by the end of second nine weeks they both got straight A’s. I love their drive and passion for things, but their love of education is probably the one I am the most proud of. Thank you to their wonderful teachers and school for giving them such a wonderful environment to thrive in. Sammie had her first (and unfortunately probably last) ballet recital. She did amazing, but she still says she prefers gymnastics. Stu and I have switched roles while he’s transitioning into a new job, so he’s on daddy daycare and grocery duty. It’s funny how disconnected he is because he obviously doesn’t know how many kids we have (1 bunch of bananas is one snack for us) and I am not sure the teachers will appreciate baggies of sardines for snacks. Rosey is finally old enough to go the dog park and did so well (read that she didn’t growl or bite anyone). She didn’t seem to enjoy it (too much butt sniffing going on😂), but I think she’ll get use to it.
