I didn't feel chosen or cherished. I think that's what broke me the most. Despite the obvious attraction he had towards me, mainly sexually, I felt like I wasn't the best one for him.

I just got asked if I was 18 at Costco. I'm 27 lol

I was very confused on why they were asking me specifically if I was 18 and my brain kinda short-circuited and I took a few seconds to answer.

Turns out they thought I was with family after me then realized I was alone when I said no and they thought I came to Costco without my parents so they asked if I was 18.

It's definitely a compliment whenever someone thinks I look younger than my age but it also makes me feel like a child - like I'm not taken seriously.

People think I'm a teenager. I have 2 fucking degrees and pay taxes. I'm a whole ass adult. Please don't treat me like a child.

It's both a blessing and curse looking much younger than my age.

It also creeps me out more when I think about the old ass men that hit on me when I was a teenager and preteen. I wonder if they thought I was even younger than my actual age. Ugh. Disgusting.
