Dianite was gliding past a large gem when suddenly it split in two. Curiously, she peered out from behind a tree and watched as the dark gem and light gem proceeded into an argument. Things were heating up between the two, and she dared move closer.
There was utter turmoil between Black Quartz and Cerussite.
See, BQ had taken control of Topaz; forcing both of them to do something Russi was uncomfortable with doing in the first place. Because they were angry at each other, Topaz unfused right in the middle of their bickering.
“You can’t do that! That wasn’t even fair!” Cerussite yelled, her arms crossed as she sat in the cold dirt.
Black Quartz played with her hair for the first time in forever, happy that she could get some time to herself.
“Oh Russi… please. Come on. Don’t tell me you didn’t have fun…” She spoke, her voice deep and sultry.
“Of course!” They said in unison almost hauntingly. The two shared another glance, following a blush. Their blushing lead them to turn away from each other.
However their focus was still on Dianite. BQ was subconsciously piecing together the rest of the story in her mind, though; she wanted to tell Dianite all about the events after Cerussite’s rescue. Especially the part about her stealing a ship and flying off to the earth. After all, it was too easy in Homeworld. Their ships were always open and ready for departure.
“Well. It’s really difficult for me to remember this dream exactly sometimes, it’s best when I go to the place where it always happens.”
Dianite lead the two gems down a straight path where after a short walk they were greeted with an open meadow, full of flowers and rocks that were up to your knees. She took a deep breath in through her nose, closing her eyes and enjoying the aroma of the flowers. She kept her eyes closed as she told the first part of her dream.
“Walking, playing, prancing, having fun in the meadow,” she took a few steps forward, kneeling down and brushing her fingers through the blue morning glories with a purple star in the middle of them, “then I look over to where the forest surrounds the meadow, and see this, eerie green glow,” Dianite stood up, her eyebrows being draw together. She opened her eyes and showed her friends over to a rock. “Right here.. This is where she would be, but everytime I get closer, or try to, it just seems to get further and further away.” She looked down, “and I would hear humming, from the birds, and tweets, and it would be beautiful, until my dream ended in a black fuzz.”
As Dianite led the two gems through the crevice, they reached a meadow ridiculed with flowers. Morning glories were especially prevalent. In a sense, both BQ and Russi took a short gasp. They had seen many meadows, and had danced together in quite a few.
But the one they brushed their feet through right then and there became their most breathtaking experience any field of flora could offer.
Those stars didn’t help either, as they helped the two remember their past. Their relationship with the Crystal Gems as a whole.
“Dianite… thats so… beautiful.” Russi spoke softly, her arms wrapped around BQ’s as she hung on for dear love. BQ nodded, somehow folding her own arms while keeping her wife’s small hands wrapped in the crack of her armpit.
“I betcha’ she’s a green gem. that green glow could be the glow of her gem!” The larger gem added.
“Maybe… or it could just be her aura.”
“Possibly… I dunno’, D. This seems to be a toughie. You’re probably going to have to keep dreaming to find this babe. Or actually somehow come across her on earth. Or on any other planet…” BQ added again. Russi nodded in agreement, but also decided to continue on as well.
“Or it could be a ‘he’. Or 'they’. Who knows who they are by now… it was just a glow to Dianite in her dream. It could be a frog giving off that green glow… or a reflection of something else. I don’t even think it has to be someone at all…”
“Yeah.. you’re right actually.”
“I know I’m right, silly. Heheh.” Russi buried her face into BQ’s bicep. The two shared another laugh, but then covered their mouths. For some reason, the two felt as if their PDA was a little too rude and overwhelming to handle.
“We should get back to the cave… who knows if that spider can find a way back here. You never know…” Cerussite pointed out as the realization popped into her mind.
Dianite was still trying to recall what the green glow was, if it was a person or thing, she at least thought it was a person, a shape like that is unmistakable. She shook her head and came back to reality when Cerussite recalled the spider situation.
“Yes, yes of course, we really should go.” She looked around at the rocky area, then at the flowers as she glanced upwards in Russi and BQ’s direction, smiling and leading them back to her cave.
On the way back to the cave Dianite saw a flicker of a shadow from the corner of her eye. As she turned to look what moved, a giant spider leg came into contact with her side, throwing her against a tree. She groaned, but was determined to get this thing out of here, and away from her friends. The leg was moving back into position and Dianite grabbed ahold of it, climbing up the arm because she was feeling too weak to fly. She got over halfway up when the spider noticed her on it’s leg and began shaking its leg ferociously. Dianite managed to keep hold on the spider's leg as she continued to climb up onto it. In the blind spot of the spider, Dianite sat on it’s neck, feeling something squishy behind her. The spider was still moving around, throwing Dianite backwards into the squishy mess as it burst open, spilling out what seemed like millions of baby spiders that were a foot tall. She squirmed and fell off the spider, landing into the water where the waterfall and pond meet. As she came to the surface she looked over at Russi and BQ feeling helpless with no special weapon, tiny spider crawling all over the place.
@dianitedreamer I used the gemsona generator to see what Rosie and Dianite’s fusion would look like.
Oh. My. <3~
Dianites first kiss.
If you ask me, she loved it. And the golden sparkles she left on Rosies lips.

“Right!?? Man we were quite the team back then.” BQ added on, chuckling at the compliments Dianite was dishing out.
“Even before Elestia existed…” Cerussite mumbled, smiling to herself. She acknowledged the fact that Dianite was complimenting her too, but she was too shy to reply or acknowledge her back.
“Yeah…” BQ spoke again, paused, and then continued to break the silence, “…but after my first encounter with Russi… I couldn’t get enough. I wanted to use the machine more than once… figure out its secrets… how to get her out of it. But every time I requested a machine, it wouldn’t be the Cerussite I met that day. It would always be someone different. I wanted my Russi, not another one.”
“They packed us away in storage units in bulk. I know that there are thousands of gems hooked up to numerous amounts of things. I got to meet them during my years trapped in darkness. You know, once in a blue moon, we Cerussites would communicate. We’d send dancing waves of light above and around each other. Flash, sparkle for one another. It was so beautiful…
“The guards didn’t like that though… it was something they found tedious and unnecessary. They didn’t understand the emotion of never being able to even speak to someone.” Russi finished, also clearing her throat to break the awkward silence. The lovers could tell their story was about to take some dark turns.
“I have a question.. if you could visit the other Cerrusites.. would you? And try to save them?” Dianite asked when Cerrusite explained that they would communicate by flickering their lights. How could anyone not like that? She really didn’t understand home world gems. Diante was now sitting there, intently listening to the gems story. She was so curious, yet scared of what was going to happen in the rest of their story.
"I would. I definitely would save all of them.” She explained, the white gem leaning back and sighing.
“We could. One day, we’ll save a bunch of homeworld gems from basic slavery. Its the best thing we can do…” BQ exasperated. Cerussite agreed; if anything, all gems deserved emancipation. To be able to live life based on their own terms. Just like the gems here on earth.
“But… yes… it took me days to find Cerussite’s factory unit. There are thousands of them… especially on different planets. I came across a few strange things during my expeditions… I got into a lot of trouble for going against my own whim to explore and find my Russi. White Diamond even threatened to shatter me for my actions. You think I minded though? Nah. Their threats didn’t scare me. I’d find her and I’d go somewhere else. Anywhere but there.”
Cerussite then cut in, continuing, “You went through so much to find me. So much… but you finally found me. After so long, you found my machine.”
“I wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for you, babe! Well, half of the work was by me. I had to poof those Felspars… and just forget about those Bismuths… but once I reached your unit-” she paused after being interrupted by her wife.
“Unit 35L1, Slot 226.” She specified, looking up as if the memory had caught her so suddenly.
“Heh… you sensed me in that unit and sent your lights flashing. All of the Cerussites directed me to you with their dancing auras. It was so… beautiful…”
“Yeah… it really was…” Cerussite finished. They both glanced at each other, BQ reaching for Russi’s hand. As they embraced, they never broke eye contact. The lovebirds were stuck in their own world for a moment.
Dianite was quite, tears glossed over her eyes, but she was quiet.
She wanted the two gems that were in love to enjoy their moment while they had it before they were faced back to reality. Dianites never felt love before, but only when she dreamt is the closest she would come to.
After a few minutes, Dianite shyly mumbled, “Hey.. you guys? Is it okay if.. I tell you about something that’s been on my chest?”

@themagicwolf6677s gemsona Emerald!
I am really sorry it took so long and that it doesn’t look so neat . /.\

Black Quartz played with her hair for the first time in forever, happy that she could get some time to herself.
“Oh Russi… please. Come on. Don’t tell me you didn’t have fun…” She spoke, her voice deep and sultry.
Cerussite blushed. Of course, they had told their story together millions of times to different humans and gems both alike and different. It helped give the two gems a glance back to the good ol’ days; before the end of the war and their separation from the Crystal Gems.
“Well, it all began with her..” Cerussite pointed at Black Quartz, her blush still against the white cheeks she adorned on her face.
“She’s right, it did begin with me. Now you know all Quartz are usually soldiers for Homeworld. Of course, every single one has its different ability but we all inevitably endure the harshness of gem warfare.” BQ added. Her wife continued, as if this was rehearsed.
“Now… Cerussites are different. We’re really made for worse things than a soldier. I mean, sure, we don’t go through the hardships of battle… but we go through our own hardships ourselves…”
“Every gem does, in a sense.” BQ added again. Cerussite glanced at her wife and rolled her eyes. The white gem smiled through the sass anyway.
“Yes, BQ’s right… we do go through a lot individually. Black Quartz was the disposable soldier… and I was… well, basically… I was…”
“Hunny, she was a flashlight.”
“Hey! Don’t use that term so loosely! I was used as a light source, yes, but not as some measly human device! See…… Cerussites aren’t allowed to lead lives. We’re meant for much more boring things.” She sighed, rubbing her arms and reminiscing on her days trapped in walls and fixtures as her gemstone constantly glowed, draining her power by every minute.
“Well, our story begins mainly with Black Quartz still. She chose to go against the title Homeworld gave her. To save a friend and to save herself.” Cerussite finished speaking, looking at BQ to continue. The black gem was nodding, looking down into the dirt between her spreaded legs. In a sense, she was basically sitting like a human guy.
Dianite snacked on the popped corn she had with her, repeatedly reaching her hand into the white cheddar invested bag. Her hand was now covered in white sprinkles from the flavoring. Her knees were pulled up to her chest, with the bag sitting snuggly in between.
When Dianite sees Cerussite trying to make herself seem more important her heart aches for the gem. How could someone just be /used/ as a light source? They must have something special about them, everyone does somewhere inside of them. Her eyes tear up but she blinks.
She keeps reaching into the bag of popped corn and putting it into her mouth, but it’s just air. “Uhhhh, I need more popped corn! Hold on,” she swiftly hovers over to the cabinet and pulls out another bag, sitting down and eating more of the popped corn. “Please continue,” Dainite said, intrigued.
This time, both Russi and BQ giggle at Dianite. They watched her hover over to the cabinet and swiftly snatch more popcorn to eat, and for some reason the two of them found it cute and funny. It was so heartwarming to have someone here to talk to and overall be with in general.
“I always knew about non-sentient gems being used against their will. Its how most gem technology is powered. But to hear about Cerussites and Calcites… how they’re formed only to be immediately poofed and planted into some unwelcoming machine. I found it disgusting.”
“I really didn’t have any say as to what was happening to me so I paid no mind. I thought this was life and that was how it was supposed to go.” Russi continued. The black gem next to her went on.
“And then one day, while on a scout mission to retrieve trapped gems in some remote earth cave, a Peridot had pulled a machine out. And right in front was a diamond-shaped gemstone. And when that Peridot flipped the switch, that cave… Dianite. That cave went from pitch black to a vast labyrinth filled with illumination. The way Russi here sparkles is just gorgeous. You really shined bright that night, babe.”
“Did I really? Maybe I was subconsciously flirting. Who knows?” The other gem joked.
“Heh… but yes, she helped us find those trapped gems. We brought them back to safety together… even though you weren’t technically there.”
“I was there in spirit though. You know…BQ…”
“What?” Black Quartz asked.
“That was the first night I wished I was sentient. To be able to stand there, with you, as your partner in saving them. In saving anyone. I really felt alive that night, even though I really wasn’t.”
“I felt that energy too, babe. I felt that you wanted to be here. Thats what lead to my obsession with the damn machine. I wanted to figure out how it ticked, how it worked. But for some reason I could never piece together why I was drawn to the contraption… why it had so much power… I hadn’t put it together yet in my mind that it was powered by another gem.” She finished, clearing her throat.
Dianite was in complete awe of the two gems before her that were completely in love with each other. Their story made her cry, laugh, and warmed her heart. It almost made Dianite long for a companion to be by her side always, through the good and bad times. "Ceeussite, the way you talk about helping people, I see your eyes light up. It literally brings light to your eyes, how you wanted to be there as a person right beside BQ to help her? It's honestly just..." she stretched her legs out, her hands resting in her lap as she shifted her gaze from the left to look at Cerrusite, "..amazing. I don't think I've ever been filled with this much emotion before." Dianite quickly looked at BQ, "and you! The way you were so curious about how this.. strange new power worked. You triggered Cerrusite and both of you work so perfectly together!"
Dianite was gliding past a large gem when suddenly it split in two. Curiously, she peered out from behind a tree and watched as the dark gem and light gem proceeded into an argument. Things were heating up between the two, and she dared move closer.

The fusion’s four hands reached for the fish and ripped it in half, swallowing each part like a hungry animal.
“Wow- that was…” she stopped, smacking her tongue against her mouth to fully taste the fish, and then continued with exasperation, “…DELICIOUS! Wow, Dianite how’d you make that fish? I haven’t tasted anything that good since Hawaii… by the stars…”
Topaz absolutely loved food. It was a vice for stress, something that relieved tension by filling your form up with tasty extremities. Dinner couldn’t have been spent better without Dianite; despite being hunted down by a fusion gem as they ate and relaxed.
Dianite looked at the tall gem, and smiled a bit.
“So.. could you tell me how..” dianite motioned at Peria, “this came to be?”
She hoped that she wouldn’t sound intruding to Peria, who she now adored secretly.
“This? Oh- us! Me! Well, Black Quartz and Cerussite go a very long way. It’s such a story… I mean- would you like to hear the entire thing? Or a shortened version perhaps? Or I could tell you a little blip of their past lives…” Topaz crossed her legs and leaned back a little while she conversed with Dianite.
In reality, Topaz absolutely loved speaking about who created her and how she came to be. But the story itself was something hard to speak of. Hard to tell, if she wanted to be exact. Our wild fusion would have to find a way to just touch the surface of her past, without giving away triggering details or too much information altogether.
“If anything, I can begin by telling you how they met…” Peria suggested, her right hand going to clutch her head as she slightly struggled to remain fused. The differing personalities yearned to tell the story as individuals, despite the love keeping them perpetually glued.
“The whole thing would be very nice to hear. Shall I grab some popcorn to munch on?” Dianite said with a smirk, actually getting up to get popped corn from her make shift cabinets. She stood and went over the cabinet and pulled out a bag, white cheddar, her favorite.
She sat down in from of the large gem, looking up at her, “it’s okay to unfuse, I’d love to hear it from both of the gems as each other, like a love story, how you met, when you knew you were in love, when you knew that you weren’t comfortable being separated from each other. “ she munched on the popped corn hungrily, though she just had a whole fish to herself.
She was so curious to learn about this beautiful gem who calls herself Elestial Quartz.

Side note: She loves her job and home world, and very kind person, shes good with most blades, she has a low grade healing power for cutts and bumps.

Dianite could see the struggle in Peria’s motions and eyes. She leaned forward just an inch, trying to show compassion for the gem, but not knowing how to comfort someone in need. Is she even in need?
“Are you alright? If it hurts to remember you don’t have to say anything, it can be done another time if you would have liked?” Dianite returned to her previous position and played with her thumbs, waiting for a reply.
