Spirit: Haha!… honey it just that the last mission we took together. I bought too many pineapples and stein just helping me clear it up. That's all!!

Maka:… ok… i ask professor stein tho and you don't have to get so sweaty over a simple question. It's weird papa.

Spirit: certain, dear!

Maka left them after that. Spirit sighed and some certain soft, wet texture touched his palm.

My head canon is for steins face stitch and glass; Stein doesn't really has eyesight problem. He wear glasses because one afternoon. When spirit went out and he was left alone in the lad. He has hallucination that he has three eyes Like kishin did. He tries to get rid of it. So he use a knife to cut the eye away. Spirit came back in time and calm stein down. Stitch the wound on his face, later on it still remains on there. After knowing the cause of it. Spirit gave him glasses as a reminder that he only has two eyes. So he wont harm himself again. Every time stein looks in mirror he will smile. The only time spirit stitch something and it's him who has that honor.

That is why i draw the stitch on steins face different than others stitch.

My head canon for spirit (this is not ship canon); he obsessed with women because he looks feminine and his father, or people around him hates, have negative impression with it. Lot of people probably came up with this but i still gonna write it cuz i wanted to

My first impression with him is quite confusing. I can't tell whether spirit is a man or a woman (spirit is actually girl's name, so that makes me confuse even more, until i heard his voice) So when i learned that he is a man, who is also a womanizer. The first thought that came into my mind is that "probably childhood trauma". Still shitty for him to be a cheater. It's not an excuse for him to. But the way he acts around women can portrays his own security in the past. He surrounded himself with woman so he can feel more "manly". And That also affects his relationship with Stein. He despise stein because stein effortlessly look like a man. Even with their heights are in the same number. Stein has broader shoulders, deeper voice, more masculine facial features. He envies stein, everything about him. Even a witch throw herself at him! I think spirit bite his pillow with that fact every night. Lol

A lot of people think Stein is a cat but no. Not for me. Stein is a fucking wolf. Spirit is the hound, the shepherd. Protecting lamps from stein fangs. With no lamp he can eat. He starts biting the hound itself instead. Yum yum. Infecting his madness into spirit.

My head canon is aroace stein. He has sex with spirit only as a payment for experiment on him.

Does he love Spirit? Well, that is hard to say, but he knows that Spirit is the only person he wants to be with until the last day of his life. The read-head with living organs could never bored the madness in his head. Just standing next to him, watching him, living together. That mediocracy is enough for stein. Merely the concept of spirit by his side keeps stein's madness at bay. He never experience the rising pulse of his heart while spirit is in his presence, like others do when they have a crush on someone. It's a weird comfort that only spirit can provide to him but he knows.

He knows spirit's desire. Touch, love, sweet words and a role to play in relationship. He knows he cannot give all of that to spirit. Well, he can pay some part, like sated spirit with his touch, give him attention, sticking by his side. Make him feel like he is needed.

They can keep this business together, forever. He will never stop using spirit, weapon, experiment, whatever roles in need. Spirit is the only option he willing to choose and after every time the service is done, he will pay spirit handsomely.
