If you’re unsure of how the movement began this is a great resource to check out. Black Lives Matter is becoming one of the most powerful movements of all time and we are right at the forefront. I’m interested to see what impacts the movement will have on this years election, if any.

Black Lives Matter. With all the protesting that has taken place in 2020 I honestly believe this movement has the opportunity to change the world forever. We can never go back to being oppressed. We all must fight for equality for all.

So to imagine that, think of all the data that Facebook has on you: every status update you ever typed, every Messenger conversation, every place you logged in from, all your photographs that you uploaded there. If you start typing something and change your mind and delete it, Facebook keeps those and analyzes them, too. Increasingly, it tries to match you with your offline data. It also purchases a lot of data from data brokers. It could be everything from your financial records to a good chunk of your browsing history. Right? In the US, such data is routinely collected, collated and sold. In Europe, they have tougher rules.
