Kars and the Pillar Men genuinely 100% did nothing wrong. Seriously, I’m not even just memeing now. Like, sure, they murder people. But like, which people? Literally Nazis soldiers and Italian fascists. I really do not see any scenario where I can really root for the protagonists of part 2. Stroheim was a Nazi officer. Caesar was a young Italian fascist. Joseph was just a racist who worked with them. Speedwagon started the Speedwagon Foundation with the Nazis. And what even was Kars’ ultimate goal? He just wanted to become immune to sunlight since he’s a vampire. He was the protagonist of part 2. 100%.
