Commentary: Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now

Basically sums up my life. But then again, it sums up everyone's. Being sad at work or being sad while sober. Failed relations. Feeling unappreciated. I dunno. It's kinda upbeat in a way, but I like it.

Commentary: Asleep

Yeah I know they used in the Perks movie, but honestly the song makes me think more of the book. Charlie had some pretty good taste in music. The story is kinda sad though, but at least he gets somewhat better after coming to terms with what his aunt did. Anyways, the song is peaceful and calming, but slightly melancholy. It's sweet though. I like listening to for my "sleepy time playlist", which also includes a lot of Bloc Party and The Stars.

Side effects of my meds so far

Stomach cramps

Loss of appetite ( been eating like once a day)

Nausea

Headaches

Shakes

Trouble sleeping

The shakes and nausea are probably the worst ones. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to puke right after taking it, and I have to try really hard not to. Bleh. Also I feel like more energetic through the day??? I know being tired is a side effect, but with a lot of drugs I have taken I had the opposite of the most basic side effects. I dunno. Blehhh. Going to post some Smiths.

Serious question, does anyone know if a mix of zoloft and zyrtec is at all dangerous? I have to take zyrtec because I have really bad allergies, but when my doctor asked if I took any other medications I forgot to mention that I take zyrtec about 3 to 5 times a week??

Also I got a 23 on the ACT and majored in education then switched to English so I guess I'm a dumbass. Or was it that I did molly and acid in high school? Fuck that dude.

Okay. So today we were talking about intelligence testing and college GPA predictors. My professor was going on about how fucking great of a predictor the ACT was and people who did shitty on the ACT would do shitty in college, that our uni lets in people who did not do well on their ACT, and then they pick easy majors like education and English and shit. Basically anyone who doesn't do a STEM major is a fucking dingus according to him. He said that intelligence tests are *not* biased and was dancing around without saying that black people are dumber than white people. He didn't out right say it, but he definitely hinted. God the fact people even try to measure intelligence is fucked up. Look, I can write this huge paper discussing all the metaphors I noticed in the book, but do not ask me how to change transmission fluid. Different people have different fucking skills. Just because they're different doesn't mean one is better than the other. Also smart people listen to classical music, but everyone refuses to believe tribal music has any significance because brown people made it. Even though it's far more musically complex...  Cocksucker...
