This week, we talk about our favorite 4th grade science meme, r/trebuchetmemes. For those unfamiliar with the act of launching a 90kg payload over 300 meters, a trebuchet is a medieval siege weapon far superior to a catapult, and an instant meme factory. Also, we discuss the tactics of medieval sieges, the physics of launching witches into the women's march, and requiring young mothers to watch Lebron James highlights reels before deciding to get an abortion. Powerful stuff ladies and gents.
This guy tried to do an AMA as The Joker.
He got called out for how lame it was.
Don't be this guy.

Lesson 1: If you’re going to do an AMA, make sure to prepare yourself for the tough questions. Like why you embezzled millions from your Haiti relief charity.

Yep, our new president/reality TV host's inauguration isn't the only disaster we're discussing this week.Â
In this episode, we reflect on AMA, and a few of the trainwrecks that are celebrated on r/AMAdisasters. For some reason Woody Harrelson is basically the mascot of the sub, so we talk a little about that. Then we talk about Wyclef Jean and Haiti. Then, some other stuff. It's really captivating. It's about the Internet. John Rocker is an American hero. The president of the United States used to be the host of a reality TV show.Â
Everything is just fine.

Skinwalkers, genies, haunted dolls that don’t really do anything bad but are still scary....
What’s true and what’s myth!??!?!
Who would win in a fight?
This Navajo skinwalker? Or our 43-inch Scottish Claymore?

Hey mouthbreathers, we're back. It's 2017. Time to get new swords, from TrueSwords, and then talk about them for 20 minutes on the air. If you want to hear a bit about the insane quality and absolutely criminal good deal we got on our XXXMAS presents, then listen in (at the beginning). If you're tired of our nonstop, obsessive banter about the Internet's foremost purveyor of antiquated weaponry, then skip ahead to around the 23 minute mark, where we discuss r/thetruthishere, Native American ghost stuffs, and a multitude of other ghastly things that none of us really believe in.
You’ll never know until you ask.

ItsYerDad and MyfreeDay don't know anything about ladies, so we consult r/askwomen and our inhouse ladyperson, dogboobes, about all the important questions that we're constantly juggling in our caveman brains. You know, stuff like deck size, flashlight ethics, and peen. Then we talk about some really gross stuff, and at some point we discuss hotels. This pod brought to you by the Knights Inn in Fresno. We'll keep the lights on.

Tried and true interventions that work on others have little impact on fraternity members, according to the study published in Health Psychology.
How much money was spent on this study?

A man rang police to report that his former girlfriend had left their hamster "looking like a fat little pig" by over-feeding it. He rang 101 and explained to the operator that it was his pet, but his ex-girlfriend wouldn’t give him back and she was overfeeding him. The call was one of several released by Northumbria Police in an attempt to persuade the public to stop bombarding them with unnecessary 101 calls. The Northumbria Police operator listened sympathetically as the unnamed Geordie caller revealed: “Me and my girlfriend split up a while ago and she’s got my hamster but she’ll not give us it back."
Fucking not OK.
