How the girls survive a heatwave: compressed into one fluffy little puddle in the shade. ☀️🐇
What still amazes me is that no matter how hot it gets, they always choose to cuddle up together anyway. Like… ladies. You can sit separately. Apparently that is not an option.
Flecki serving perfect bunny symmetry, spring chapter 🌼 one daisy carefully placed between her ears. Perfection 🥰
The miniature cows are at it again.
Omg your Panda Bunnys are so cute 🐼 🐰
it’s that time of year again where the buns have collectively lost their minds and are out here digging holes into the ground.
full-on construction crew behavior, i’m impressed and slightly concerned.
Baby Luna, meanwhile, has decided she’s above manual labor stuff and is just flopping dramatically all over the place while doing supersonic zoomies. different bunnies, different vibes. we love a chaotic icon 🐰💨
bunny geometrics: 10/10, no notes 📐🐰
THE HANDSOME! Back in his prime! 6 years old, hopping around the back yard during spring
Luna (left) and Flecki (right), our two absolutely gorgeous outdoor bunny girls. 🤍
Yes, they really do live outside year-round. Even in winter. Even when it gets properly cold. This year we hit temperatures down to -16°C. Were they amused? Not in the slightest. Were they okay? Completely.
The key is good setup and common sense: a dry shelter, well insulated, protected from wind and drafts, plenty of bedding, and regular checks. As long as they can stay dry and cozy, bunnies handle cold far better than heat in the summer. Cold fur is fine. Wet fur is the real enemy.
This is already their third winter outdoors, and we’ve never had any issues. No illnesses, no frost problems, just two fluffy ladies demanding snacks and fresh water every few hours. ❄️🐇
Healthy, sassy, and very aware that they’re adored.
XOXO Die Käschen 🐇🐇🧀

Evening time is cuddle time for the babies
Luna decided my shoe is today’s snack. I shooed her away. She came back. We’re in a battle of wills and I’m losing.
she found a blanket she loves it
Also look at her angry eyes she's not angry she just looks like this
Also some how she keeps escaping her cage every night
Our bunny had the grumpy eyebrows too during molding season. Soo funny 😁
Cute little detail: our Papillon girl Flecki doesn’t just have plain whiskers: She’s rocking them in black, white stripes to match her fur. Absolute sweetheart.
Close up of pretty blue eyed Baby Luna. Fun Fact: When the light hits her eyes at a certain angle, her eyes glow red. We joked that Luna was secretly an evil rabbit.
Giving my monochrome friend Flecki her long deserved ear-rub 🤏🐰
