After tending and farming this land for over century, and paying into the council coffers, the views and offer from long established and local Grammar family appear to be ignored !

As a Sawley Villager (although I have only lived for a half live time), this also raises a few initial points (and there will be more, I am sure):
I urge EBC to leave the land alone and and the the guardians of the last century maintain it into the next millennia !
1) In the article by EBC, I note a statement that indicates the trees that have been felled (during nesting season too) are dying. I see no evidence of the condition of these trees. If they are dying and dangerous then ok but please provide the supporting evidence, as EBC would rightly seek from a planner.
2) Has an impact study been carried out, regarding the affect:
a) this new "biodiversity" will have on the existing flora and fauna ??
b) on, what will become a local attraction, on the local residents. Including:
i) increased traffic and Tamworth Road is overly congested now.
ii) parking where are the volunteers and visitors park ?? Sawley has become an overused car park now.
I have signed the petition to save Sawley farmland. We have lost too much farmland in recent years. I believe with current and future prospects, the UK will need all the farmland it has and maybe more.
