Hawke
“Oh, truly? No I can’t say I’m aware of all the intricacies of Fereldan history. Though you could not possibly bore me with the tale of what brought you here.” She shook her head, turning to the bartender to ask for a glass of ale. It certainly wasn’t her favorite drink, but a drink was a drink, yes?
“Smart. Both.” She extended a hand and a friendly smile. “Magistra Maevaris Tilani, darling. Lovely to meet you.” Her other hand moved up, brushing a bit of her golden hair back, tucking it behind her ear. “Indeed. It’s a bit far out of my way, but just returning towards Qarinus on business.” In truth, it was the only town civilized enough to be recorded on the map, and she wasn’t about to stay elsewhere.
“It’s...not a very fun tale, honestly.” And if he was friends with Danarius before he was killed? Well, this would turn into a very unhappy conversation indeed. Hawke gave his best lopsided smile and took the lady’s hand, gently kissing the top of it. “Well Magistra Tilani, it’s a pleasure.”
Right, right, she’d want his name too. “Garrett Hawke. Champion of Botching Up Things.” It wasn’t as if he was hard to pick out if someone was really, really looking for him. His armors and clothes were not a simple peasant’s, though his manner of speaking certainly was. “Are you enjoying the hopefully not flea ridden beds? The fine dining?”
