It might sound a bit like something too many people are already saying, but on a personal note, losing weight has been a dreadful experience for me.The last four diets I put myself through were a waste of time because I just didn't lose any weight at all with any of them. I can't blame anyone else by myself, of course, I understand that. No one can make me get fat and no one can make me lose it again except me! But I think there are also some mitigating circumstances that have added to the problem I face and I think its worth airing them first before I tell you how I turned things around eventually.
I have been steadily gaining weight for the last three years since taking a desk job and getting little or no exercise while having to grab a hurriedly eaten lunch midday then coming home late in the evening thanks to a long commute from the office to a reheated store bought "ready meal" because my wife can't cook. Again, I can't blame her or anyone else but myself, because I took the job and its my choice to work a desk job and not do a more physically demanding one. I prefer to use my brain to earn my living - just the way it is.
So anyhow, despite all this, I tried some diets that send you round all the food, saving my wife the trouble of having to learn how to cook even though she has no intention of learning. Its all microwave stuff so the peace in the home was kept! Its just the diets didn't do it for me and probably a lot of the reason for their failure was because I simply don't have the metabolism to burn the calories - even on a restricted calorie diet. I understand how that all works, which makes it even more frustrating for me!
So I found an alternative solution that a lot of people warned me off from. I hate the idea of taking any kind of drugs, so FDA approved diet pills were not a choice. But I'm open to suggestions for natural remedies using herbal stuff and there are some interesting all-natural diet strategies available that work by reducing the body's ability to store fat.
This sounded interesting to me, so I decided that my next diet would also include a course of these healthy tips to see if I could boost the effectiveness of the diet by including some natural dietary food boosters. I guess its all about educating the metabolism to work for you.
It worked and over 2 months, I lost 22 pounds. How did I do it? Well, I found a really good weight loss review article and it sort of convinced me to try some healthy dieting and exercises and you know I stuck at it and it worked!
You don't have to take my word for it, because that's not why I wrote this. It was just to get it into words that anyone can read and if they have been experiencing the same problems as I did, they can check it out for themselves, or not as the case may be!
