Hey guys! For today’s post I wanted to review something I’ve been playing around with for about a month now which is Colourpop’s new “Sweet talk pressed powder palette”. It would be an understatement to say I’m obsessed with this palette. One thing I always look for in a eyeshadow palette is soft tones and nude/ pink colors and this one definitely blew me away. This palette includes 1 super shock shadow which has a more wet consistency with a blinding shine, 9 pressed powders which bring in all the pigment blend super well, and 9 pressed glitters which can easily be applied without a glitter primer and the glitters are comparable to Huda beauty’s new nude palette. This palette is great for people who want to get the same feel of the Huda beauty palette but are on a budget or if you just love soft glam makeup looks in general or want to pizazz your everyday eye makeup with some blinding glitter! All of these colors are easily usable and are especially great to start out with for beginners because none of the colors are overwhelming. The only problem this palette could have however is the super shock shadow drying out. But as long as you don’t keep the palette open for too long and keep the plastic film on top you shouldn’t have any problems. This palette also has a stronger magnet from the others which should help. Hey guys! I decided to do a little extra review for you guys on the Kat Von D studded kiss lipstick! I bought the lipstick about a month ago in the shade “love craft” and have fell absolutely in love with it. This lipstick is a bit drying but I apply the Nyx all over Argan oil balm on my lips before hand and it makes the lipstick slide right on. The lipstick stays in tact all day so you don’t have to worry about reapplying but it is definitely travel friendly if you would like to take it along with you! Hey dieters! I’m back with another fresh Anastasia review! For today’s review I am doing the Anastasia contour cream kit. I normally prefer to use powder contour, but decided to venture out of my comfort zone and try a cream contour for you guys! Packaging wise it didn’t fail to impress! The kit was a nice and sturdy hard plastic which is much more durable unlike the powder kit, which got pretty beat up after a while of usage. Now on to application. Right off the bat I could tell the formula was very dense and harder to blend which was scary as a beginner because i prefer a light and natural contour but after watching some videos I realized that this palette is not easy to blend like concealers would be and that this contour is meant to stay on your skin not blend into it and a tip I got from one video was to add a drop of facial oil to the color you would like to use for a more creamier application and easier blending. Doing that worked much better for me! Especially with my dry skin it felt more hydrating. If you would like a more natural look I would suggest to apply it before foundation and if you prefer a dramatic look use it after you apply foundation. Another con I ran into was that the colors were on the warmer side of the spectrum for me but I also think I picked up a palette darker than my skin tone so that’s something you definitely want to keep in mind before selecting a palette! All in all I would recommend this palette if you have a beauty oil on hand (if you have dry skin) and if you prefer a more dramatic look than concealer contouring. Hey dieters! I’m back with another fresh review! For today’s review I will be reviewing the Anastasia Sugar Glow Kit. This highlighter kit has four stunning shades that are bound to look beautiful on any skin tone. Although most of the shades are repeated from older palettes (which are now discontinued) they definitely added upgrades to the shades. The first shade is Marshmallow which is a repeated shade from the Sweets Glow Kit and looks similar to the original except it is less metallic and more dewy in this kit which is nice when you have a gold colored highlight. The second shade is Gumdrop which is the only new shade in the palette. Gumdrop looks beautiful as a blush topper with its gorgeous pop of pink color which would look gorgeous for a more dramatic look and also has a stunning dewy finish. The third shade is butterscotch which has a gold champagne color to it and is also a repeated highlighter from the Sweets but looks more metallic in this Glow Kit. Lastly there is Starburst from the Gleam Glow Kit which definitely looks less pink in this but adds up with its super metallic finish. Application wise they applied beautifully! I did not have to dip my brush in too much and I still got beautiful application. I definitely think this palette suited my needs and has become my new holy grail product. This palette works even better for me than Sun Dipped because I can use all of the shades as a highlighter unlike Sun Dipped. I recommend this palette to everyone even if you have the older palettes this one is definitely worth a try. The colors apply very beautifully and are very pigmented. So I totally didn’t realize Instagram deleted my review. Which really sucks but when can you do 🤷🏻‍♀️ so I’m reposting this review again along with my new sugar palette review! Enjoy! ——————————————————— Anastasia Glow Kits have been a staple for many MUA’s for years and in honor of the Black Friday sales on the Anastasia Glow Kits, I decided to do a review on my fav. The Sun Dipped Glow Kit! I have had my palette for about a year now and have used it more than any other highlight I own. There are 4 shades Bronzed, Summer, Tourmaline, and Moonstone. As seen in the picture the top two colors have a warmer undertone and the bottom two have a cooler undertone. Bronzed is great to put over contour for a more dewy finish (apply with a fan brush for a more subtle finish because it is very metallic). Tourmaline has a mauve undertone and creates a nice dewy blush! Summer applies like a sheen white gold highlight which is blinding with the light. Moonstone is similar to summer but has a cooler pink undertone! Application wise it applies very smoothly and carries a very luxurious and metallic finish! I think this palette is great for people who love a strong and blinding highlight! These colors are packed with pigment and stay on all day! This palette is a staple for every golden hour picture even in the colder months! So make sure to grab one before they sell out!
