Fondly Forgetting: The Tecktonic Movement

My name is Sophie and it's been 2 years since my last tecktonic move. I first heard about tecktonic dancing in 2008 at the height of my Justice obsession. I never went public with my love of these videos, but they were my only source of physical exercise in 2008 (yes, really). I first heard of Amanaz a few years ago when I was hunting down a Toro Y Moi song. This is the only song I know by them, and because they also classify as Zamrock, I hereby declare this week Zamrock Appreciation Week.

Witch - Like A Chicken

Not to be confused with the J Mascis side project, Witch was a Zambian Zamrock band that released at least 5 albums, of which Introduction is arguably the best. Spotify has muddled albums togethered and credited the wrong Witch, and the best way to Avoid confusion and missed opportunities by  buying the entire Witch catalogue directly from Now Again Records.
