Answer honestly
Don’t pick what you think is the “morally correct” or “socially acceptable” answer. Pick what you truly feel, even if it’s complicated or ugly, or you feel like a bad person for putting that answer. That’s the point. There are no right or wrong answers, and you're not gonna get an A in being the most morally good or most mature person in the notes.
With how Tumblr polls work, your input will be completely anonymous unless you deliberately specify your answers otherwise, either through what you put in your reblogs, the comments, or in your tags. If you practice good OSPEC, YOU WILL SUFFER 0 CONSEQUENCES FOR ANSWERING HONESTLY.
Sit with the discomfort
If a question feels hard to answer, good. Take a second to think it through. No need to rush. The polls stay open for a while. You don't even need to justify your answer, either. Just put what you feel would best represent it. This blog is not meant to be judgemental or biased in any way, just informative.
Context is everything
I try not to include a "it depends" option, since that's obvious, and it tends to detract from the question itself. Also, it's just boring. If your answer depends on various factors, or you want to elaborate, leave a reply or reblog with your thoughts.
Anonymity is respected
You’re never required to explain yourself. Vote and scroll, or share your thoughts. It's your call.
RULES TO KEEP IT RESPECTFUL AND SAFE
No hate speech or bigotry
Don’t use these polls as an excuse to be racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, etc. That includes in submissions, asks, or replies. Hate gets blocked, even if you're joking or "obviously trolling." Don't be that person.
Sensitive topics get warnings
I’ll tag or warn for heavier stuff (e.g., abuse, death, self-harm, etc.). If something gets missed, you can DM or send a polite ask requesting a CW.
This is not a "Gotcha" blog
Regardless of whatever answer you put, I'll assume good faith, and I expect you all to do the same. Don't harass or dogpile people. Disagree in the tags or reblogs with your take.

You can send in a controversial, philosophical, or morally confusing question via the ask box. Feel free to include answer options to go with it. I might edit for clarity or balance.
Don’t submit real-life personal doxxing, crime confessions, or targeted drama. You can submit moral dilemmas, not real criminal admissions or callouts. I’m not a court. We discuss ideas, not real-life harm.
Minors, be cautious
Some topics may be mature or emotionally heavy. If you’re under 18, participate with self-awareness and consider skipping certain polls.
I will keep my personal opinions secret.
I plan to not engage with anyone regarding these topics. I am not going to share my personal beliefs or opinions. I will simply pose hypotheticals within my polls, and those hypotheticals will not reflect any of my personal opinions. I will also credit suggestions accordingly, unless anonymity is preferred. (PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU WOULD PREFER TO BE ANONYMOUS) I will also block users for hate or harassment.

This is a space to explore what people really think, not what they should think. The top voted answers may be messy, contradictory, or surprising, but they’re real.
