Bandai Namco’s Card Division has published the results of the closed beta test for Digimon Alysion, the upcoming smartphone app based on the Digimon Card Game. Held from August 7 to August 12, 2025, the test drew more than 50,000 applicants worldwide, highlighting the excitement surrounding the new title.
According to the report, over 90% of participants said they want to continue playing after the game’s official launch. Test feedback pointed out areas for improvement, including battle tempo, card visibility, and smoother controls. The development team has pledged to address these points as they refine the app ahead of release.
Digimon Alysion adapts the hit Digimon Card Game into a mobile format, allowing players to build decks, battle online opponents, and explore an expanded story. The app shares its world with the ongoing web comic and novel Digimon Liberator, introducing new Digimon, characters, and evolution paths to expand the franchise’s lore.
While no release date has been announced, Alysion will be free-to-play with optional in-app purchases, available on iOS and Android.
With such a strong beta response, Digimon Alysion is poised to become a major platform for Digimon Card Game fans to enjoy matches on the go, while also connecting to the series’ expanding story universe.

The demo lets players fully explore the opening chapters, offering a preview of the story, turn-based battles, and the expansive Digital World. Save data from the demo can be transferred to the full release, allowing fans to continue their journey seamlessly on launch day.
After clearing the main demo, players can unlock the Central Town Adventure Trial, a special mode that features free exploration of Iliad’s central city and a dungeon challenge. While progress in this trial will not carry over, it provides a deeper look at the game’s mechanics and setting.
Players should note:
Manual saves are required to transfer progress.
Auto-save data will not carry over.

Digimon Beatbreak Confirms Theme Songs by MADKID and Ai Tomioka, Premieres October 5, 2025

The excitement around the upcoming Digimon Beatbreak anime continues to build, as Toei Animation has officially revealed the artists behind the show’s theme songs. Set to premiere on October 5, 2025, the series will feature MADKID and Ai Tomioka as the voices that open and close each episode.
The opening theme, “Mad Pulse,” is performed by MADKID, a five-member dance and vocal group known for anime work including The Rising of the Shield Hero. With an impactful drum intro and a bold, high-energy tone, the track is set to underscore the intense world of Digimon Beatbreak. The song will be available for digital release on October 5.
