The Digital Bodies class is an intermediate 3D Imaging class taught by new media artist and Professor Snow Yunxue Fu at New York University Tisch School of the Arts Department of Photo and Imaging, as well as formerly at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The class teaches the fundamental and advanced 3D imaging technical skills relating to digital bodies. Students learn to appropriate and customize standardized body models from multiple resources. Exploring movements that both imitate and go beyond the limitation of reality, the class incorporates various strategies in narrative, cinematic, game, sculptural, and performative practices to expand conceptual themes. This short is illustrating the personal journey of the soul in aiming at the highest in us while growing through all the stages of love, i.e., from eros (self-concerning/physical), to philia (brotherly love, community), to agape (the ultimate level of love that touches on the highest nature of our being and our communion with the Divine).
This project is an exploration of the idea of leaving the "fake" world of capitalism and gray, boring life behind in favor of the "real" world full of color, magic, and wonder

This 90-second animation conveys the beauty of the movement and the still. While comparing my dancing robot with other sitting sculptured robots, there is a harmony between all of them. I aim to create a sensual and flowing ambience for the audience.
