Optical Fiber - Optics...

Saw this at a trade show, optical fibers bonded and cut make blocks of glass that seemingly lift the image off a page, hard to explain and maybe you can see it from the photo:

This fascinating optical technology, from Incom, is already being employed in many innovative applications but it was impossible to see this without thinking there would be many more. Food for creative minds.
