“Understood. User registered to white list. This unit is pleased.” She raised her arms up to reach for Flandre’s hands to shake them. She was rather ecstatic to meet someone in this poor technological inept region.

“Searching internet results in little assistance other than replacing communication patterns with already existing lines from videos.”

So….she was a technology based youkai? Huh! That made sense. People always feared new things. “Well, it’s nice to meet you! Designation Deta…um. Is that like, your name? How long have you been learning to speak? I could help!”

“Incorrect designation. This unit’s name is Deta Gijutsu. Speech has been installed in this unit since birth 62 years ago. However, use of such function has been limited. Gesnokyo lacks methods of digital communication systems resulting in vocal communication. This unit’s comprehension of programming language far exceeds organic methods.”

She looks around and then back to Flandre. She was taking in her surroundings at the moment, simply trying to log everything. More flashing would occur from her circuits as they headed towards her face panels.

“Vampire offers assistance to fix this unit’s parameters....? Troll of friend?”

“Glad to hear, then! At the very least you won’t be so pathetically scared of me that you scream ‘VIRUS! VIRUS!’ whenever I put a finger on you or whatever.”

“This unit requests you refrain from physical contact. Failure to comply may result in temporary shut down of user’s functionality.” In other words, she’ll activated Seiga’s rest mode.

“That is the proper response. This unit will communicate within normal parameters. C++ shall be kept to minimum.” She floats towards the others face to run a diagnostic on them, eyes flashing slightly with electricity running through her circuits. Perhaps another oddity was her lack of feet--she was just floating with legs shooting out pixels that shrank and vanished as they descended.

“Catagory: Vampire. Existence: Confirmed. Cataloged.” Her eyes gave a quick blue flash as well did the electronic veins that were scattered on her body. A vampire--they were real. How interesting how such a species could exist. A humanoid leech!

“Designation: Deta. Species: Youkai. This unit is a being capable of manipulating programming. I am a cybernetic youkai created from human fear of computations and viruses. My vocal patterns are because of this creation. This unit is learning to speak more naturally. Progress: Slow.”
