Some sketches of Sri Lankan masks which i did for one of my History project.
Instead of standard rectangular bookcases, St. Mark’s Bookshop in NYC is filled with bookshelves that flow throughout the store in a smooth, wave-like motion. Clouds Architecture Office created the innovative bookcases to stimulate visual experience while shopping.
It is an awesome way of showcasing books without making the space boring with standard rectangular bookcases.
Exploration of Humans and Nature
Kate Macdowell extraordinary porcelain designs are aesthetically beautiful and has a lot of depth. Its a cute and a creepy way to show the connection between Humans and nature.
Wiel Arets Architects created the Jellyfish House, a stunning home built around a rooftop infinity pool in Marbella on the Mediterranean coast of Spain.
Amazing Design! The way how it has designed let the residents to have a swim and sunbathe with a view of Mediterranean sea.
Art Deco is one of my favorite visual arts design style. Art Deco elements looks simple but its intricate detailing gives a depth to it. i like how the rich colors, bold geometric shapes and ornamentation blends together.
Pet Campers
Is there campers only for humans? Not really, now there are campers for dogs too.Judson Beaumont is the one who has created this tiny version of campers for pooches.I like how he used the colors and materials to give a simple and adorable look.

Tranquility...
For me tranquility is all about keeping connections with nature. nature is a part of our life. it helps us to detach our selves from the stressful world.this is a space i have designed to give the feeling/experience of tranquility
ID me Exhibition project
This was a design project we got to represent our selves through a design process. And the theme of the exhibition was "preconceptions'. All my classmates and i got a negative and a positive trait to explain this idea.
Above picture is the photoshoped photographs to the given traits from my classmates.
Apart from theses two photographs we were asked to do a concept model which represent ourselves.below is the concept model which i did to represent myself.
Some photographs which were taken by me of Sri Lankan Colonial Buildings
Wait for the Bus in Baltimore
The giant typographic sculpture that literally spell out the word "bus" is functioning as a bench and also can accommodate two to four people and protect them from rain, sun and wind. And this is the most clear place to wait for a bus ever designed and that's what caught my attention.
This is my first concept model which i did for my concept model project . My concept was unity and i have connected triangular pieces together to show the lessons we have successfully completed. i chose triangular shape pieces because it is a strong shape so i thought to represent unity through strength and each color resenting multiple races linked together as an image for corporation and strength.
This is my photoshoped work which i did during my portfolio design period at college. This photoshop skills now helping me to do my design projects.
My interest towards stained glass designs led me to the way of finding new techniques to do stained glasses. This series of photographs were captured by New York photographer Bing Wright. He takes Photographs of sunset and projects them on broken glasses and after that he re-photographed the reflection and then enlarges the image into a bigger scale.it gives a feeling of standing in front of a stained glass window.
England-based photographer Martin Kimbell uses long exposures and special lighting techniques to create spectacular light trails set against lovely landscapes. To capture each gorgeous spectacle, Kimbell attaches LED lights to a hoop and then tosses it up in the air to document the movement.
