Originally, when I set out to do Ninety-Nine Righteous Men, I wanted the demon to have a lot of sparkly and slinky jewelry and the like, jewels from all over the world, as a contrast to the way Dictionnaire Infernal described this demon as being an amalgamation of various animals and the way its design is made of different horrific elements. But, between time constraints, the fact that the comic is in black and white, and the already borderline-busy design of the demon, that never happened.
